Comments Thread For: Dillian Whyte Wants Two Tuneups, Then More Experienced Foes

Eddie Hearn hosted a double presser in London earlier today to unveil new signing Dillian Whyte (16-1, 13 KOs) as well as bringing George Groves (23-3, 18 early) and Martin Murray (33-3-1, 16 stoppages) face-to-face ahead of their June 25 fight at London's O2 Arena. Groves's WBA International title is on the line in that one and it also serves as an eliminator for the WBA Super middleweight world title.

Whyte can be solid if he gets himself in better shape and actually work on his jab more.

His body attack is ok but could be better as well as stamina.

Guy has a solid chin, good power, heart and Banks as his coach.

Whyte is still considered a prospect/contender so I understand his reasoning besides him just coming back from injury.

Whyte vs Chisora or Whyte vs Martin would be good to start.

The UK is a bit spoilt with class heavyweights right now. I can only imagine how fun some of these cards must be to attend. A lot of class coming from The UK, hope Whyte comes back strong and gets a scrap with Chisora that sounds like a good fight.
