Comments Thread For: Khurtsidze's Coach: We're Ready To Face Golovkin in September

Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs), who already owned the WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight world titles, recently picked up the WBC belt from Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez - but he still has no opponent lined up for the fall. So the question is: who is willing to face the unified middleweight champion?

White Tyson would be a decent opponent for GGG. Funny how Jacobs is a champion, but he's "not ready" yet Rozier's other fighter, who is not a champion "is ready." WTF???

won't matter. lets see jacobs give up that belt that he cried over when he won it. i guess it wasnt that important after all. health comes first as the great floyd said.

I wouldn't mind this fight after Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs, DeGale, Ramirez [thats not happening - he is too long], Lara.

GGG has a shit load of mandatories to take care of now so at least his voluntaries ought to be lucrative, attractive and meaningful. Khurtsidze as a voluntary IS NOT lucrative, just about attractive and barely meaningful. His best win looks to be Douglas.

But,,,,,,, ...... if he and Lara are the only guys willing to step up then toss a coin.

Do you get a belt for the "regular" champion? Anyway, time will tell! As for Floyd, at least he moved up from 130-154! Most of the "great ones" do!
