Bull****, there was NOTHING wrong with it.
HBO and Main Events had no problem accepting that exact same offer because they think that Kovalev can beat Ward...... but HBO/K2 were not that confident about lil'G.Comment

Take the fight Jacobs
That's sad when your own trainer says you ain't ready and you're pretty much in your prime! For god's sake, he just came out of his biggest fight in his career with a KO against a non "Bum", and many thought was unbeatable for a hot second, and coach say's , "Recently sun, you ain't got a chance against G!"
If you ask me, now's the only right time to take on GGG! You never know if you'll ever get another chance with the hottest boxer in the game (no ****)! Just what if he gets GGG to touch the canvas or even make him go the distance! He'd be considered a straight up gangsta BEAST!
Naw, who am I kidding? GGG in 4 by KO!Comment

Kind of a Quinky Dink how after a month Ward witnessed the destruction of Lemieux, he can't make 168 anymore and has to move to LHW. IMO Ward is now diverting the attention away from G and now towards Kov's, whom Ward will ironically duck!
On what date did Ward propose the GGG bout?Last edited by J Dubber; 05-24-2016, 01:39 AM.Comment
