Comments Thread For: Hearn Blasts Khan, Says Brook Fight is 'Gone'

Matchroom's Barry Hearn has told Sky Sports that an all-British showdown between Sheffield's IBF welterweight titlist Kell Brook and Bolton-based rival Amir Khan is no longer a viable fight following Khan's KO loss to WBC middleweight holder Saul Alvarez in Las Vegas earlier this month.

    Hahahahahahahahah

    Oh really?

Khan hit the spot , don't know why he didn't call out Hearn being the issue before.

It's OBVIOUS that Hearn was in total control of brook, this confirms it.

Exactly. Barry Hearn has just tweeted that he made those comments about Khan, because of what Khan said last week. So if Khan signed to fight Brook, would he still be passed his sell by date

Glad to see they have come around.

Forget Khan, move on to better fights.

That's bold and brave of you to move on after 5 years, repeat ; 5 years of chasing Khan, calling him out and generally being obsessed.

They sound like proper twerps now.

But don't worry, soon they have 2 belts so will probably be acting like Floyd mayweather soon.

Good. Brook was never really giving Khan a payday after the Canelo loss. No value in a fight that's a foregone conclusion.

But please Amir, one more time for those of us who love seeing you get KOed? Make the Garcia fight and become the Undisputed-4-time-4-weight-KOed-King-Khan

Hearn is right..Khan knew he could not win but sold himself anyway..Can't blame him for taking a career high payday either but after that KO it's hard for me to get excited about him fighting ANYBODY..Right now i think he'll make great undercard fights though...
