I have respect for Lemieux and would not knock him for being interested, but if Canelo fought him at 160 it would just prove he ducked GGG. Honestly though, i think it's more likely than the GGG fight getting made.

It happens. Its not that serious. Hire a nutritionist. I'd bet he makes weight, but if he doesn't than Canelo can cancel the fight like the club show guy if he's got THAT much of a problem with it. I mean at this point it wouldn't even be for a title so who cares all that much anyway.

Good fight. I think he can make 160 just fine. When he misses weight he did say that he was trying a new nutritionist and it didn't work out. He looked OK a few weeks. Definitely not skeletal by any means.

He does rehydrate pretty high though - 170-175. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at 168 in 2-3 years.

TRU! I can't believe I'm even arguing about Mario Lemuix. Personally I've only seen him fight twice. Look like sht against GGG and Looked GREAT against a HUGE -1800 no hoper.So I really have no clue how good or bad he is...I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

I saw this coming a mile away! GBP wanting to keep $ within GBP! I really doubt canelo will fight him at 160! they will prolly offer DL an insane amount of $ to fight at a "catchweight" just to maintain the sept 16 date set. GGG should fight Jacobs on Sept and take the holiday from canelo! at this point there is NO ONE out there that canelo can fight that will be PPV worth it if it's not GGG!
