Unless Danny somehow manages to come in at 180lbs with freakish power he aint got a chance at 147. Canelo is the much faster, much bigger, much stronger and much more technically sound version of Garcia. KHan was on his way to a UD before that shot, Danny cant generate or land that type of shot.

Relevancy to the actual sport, not the gossip. Khan has made a career out of talking himself into big paydays. I actually admire how he's twisted his shortfalls in ability into actual selling points. He fell short talking himself into a Mayweather fight, but he's done well.

As for the division and the sport, a win over Khan does little for Brook other than a payday. I'd go so far as to criticise the matchup as another no-hoper for Brook if it gets signed. He should be gunning for the Garcia's, Thurman's and Porters of the division, not Amir Khan lol

        Porter arguably won?

        Huh?

But to answer... A win. Thats what he gains.

Unfortunately... As much as I like Khans delusional spirit I don't think he wins...

And how did Khan win over the mexican fans? They were just worried is all. Like when you get someone to do something foolish and have to pretend its not hilarious they predictably wiped out?

And lmfao at the guy who said khan was on his way to a ud vs Garcia like Khan lost in the 12th.

Dude lost in like 4 rounds! Danny was on the way to a UD at the rate the fight was going... With the knockdowns n what have you

You cant win like 2 rounds and be on the way to victory lol

What fight were you watching? Brook comfortably beat Porter and controlled him with his jab. Porter came on a bit at the end, but it was too late.

              -Kell Brook was untested
              -Who has Brook even beaten

Khan gains absolutely nothing in terms of his legacy and resume for beating Brook. However if he beats Garcia and has a big fight against a big name,,,,his legacy improves.

Khan won over the Mexican-American public after his fight with Canelo. The Mexicanas will come out to see Khan fight in the US, and HBO want him back on thier channel.'
Someone who is undefeated and a world titlist. Oh and khan won't beat brook. No way in hell that happens

Well staying relevant to the general public so he can generate money for himself is the sort of relevance he most cares for, boxing purists are never gonna like him.

Khan basically wasted a few years chasing mayweather, but then he is one or two performances away from being back as one of the main guys in the division, it's up to him, he needs regular fights and solid resolve.

There's no rush to fight brook,
Brook will always take a Khan fight due to the payout, whilst Khan has a name in the states he may as well chase some bigger fish from that side of the pond, brook can wait, hence why he is,
Money rules boxing, more cash you command, the more you control the shots, look how Mayweather toyed with everyone, especially Khan,
                  Khans doing the same

How the *** was Khan on his way to a UD? He probably won the first couple, but Canelo had clearly figured him out and was breaking him down and beating him up.
