Comments Thread For: McGregor Heading To UFC Return, Not Floyd Mayweather PPV

Conor McGregor says his dispute with UFC became a "publicised civil war" once he refused to participate in a promotion for a fight and the wildly popular fighter took his unhappiness to social media.

    So, yeah, what everyone expected.

Conor McG needs to spend a little more time focusing on trying to overcome his loss to a middle of the road fighter, and a little less caring about fans validating his nonsense.

I lost a lot of respect for McGregor using his name to promote a lowlife woman/child abusing felon like floyd just for hoots.

Floyd needs you? Last I read Floyd was worth just over 1 billion dollars. I think he'll be fine.

Look at the last quote. McGregors whole act seems like a copy off Floyd

Unless this took place in an Octagon under MMA rules I had no interest in seeing this take place. Let Floyd put his boxing skills against Connor's MMA skills and see who's the better "fighter".

That's like putting a football player up against a ice hockey player, it proves nothing.

Bad analogy. Floyd is a fighter and so is Connor.

The bigger handicap would have been having Connor fight Floyd in a boxing match where he can only utilize one of his fighting styles that he's not even a master of. Floyd is a master boxer while Connor is an all around mma fighter. Would have been more interesting to see if Floyd's skills would be able to overcome Connor's skills or vice versa.

In a boxing match Connor had absolutely zero chance.

I'm must happy its not happening as it would have proved nothing.

You don't pay attention to UFC ****? As a guy who's seen Conor's 3 year UFC run it definitely is.

Conor's whole act is being an Irish Mayweather with better **** talking + more comedy involved. Maybe I could see it described like a Mayweather/Fury hybrid act.
