  • Whats stopping lara from fighting a top 10 contender at 160?

Anyone know? I don't see him fighting either Charlo, so why stay at 154?

You guys are getting Desperate! What's wrong in him fighting GGG? Instead of GGG fighting all these lesser names why not Lara?

Because he knows that will lead to him fighting GGG and he wants none of that. He'll only bring up GGG's name when either he or GGG already have a fight lined up.

Nothing is wrong with a GGG fight. But what middleweights has lara beaten to show hes capable in that division? Btw, lara is a lesser name.

He brought him up last night... The fight I'm sure is way back in line for k2 after Saunders,Jacobs, and Canelo but fk it why not fight the guy if none of those want it...

Since he got knocked around the ring by Angulo he is probably afraid to get knocked the f. out against a legit MW who can fight.

I see him getting bombed out by Stevens and Lemieux.

              So the answer is:

Lara wants that money fight before taking risks of getting knocked out and exposed.

Who would want to fight at 160? GGG is there!!!! He knocks them all out in the same night. They should all submit and hand over their belts because there is really no need for anyone to ever fight him.

In a perfect world, all the top fighters will hand their belts to GGG and he should only fight those sanctioning body mandatories. Because these mandatories are the one's that really earned their shots.

This is one of those threads where you know the reaction will be unbiased.

So why can't lara just fight a random middleweight to see how he does at 160?
