Samuel Peter. We gotta get more heavyweights like this guy if we want that division shaping up. He's exciting, he's powerful, and he knows how to fight. If he learns how to handle himself better, and learns how to move around the ring a little better, then he will be great. GREAT

IF we can get like 4-5 guys like him in the heavyweight division, i can see a great comeback for Heavyweights, and a great comeback for the entire sport!

IMO, we just watched a champion fighter tonight on Friday Night Fights, and he fought an okay fighter. A lot of guys are gonna think Long is terrible. But he isnt THAT bad, he was simply outclassed. I'm looking forward to another fight of his. I see good things for Peters future.

a lot of people may think its fine, but its still very unpopular. For me, i dont enjoy watching a bunch of fatasses roll around the ring until one falls down. Some fighters in HW are in great shape, and they tend to be the more exciting ones. Peters seriously looks like he could make the HW have a great comeback. WE NEED FIGHTERS LIKE HIM. as much of a "chump" as many think he is... he is also very exciting and powerful. Fans like both.

And i definetly agree with the above poster. He needs better competition.

Peter has a ton to work on IMO before becoming a dominating force in the heavyweight division. He's good but I don't know he would do against someone faster than him, who can take some punches, and doesn't let him really get inside.

good post homie and I agree. We need big guys in HW that are exciting and can pop. Cmon, we need the new Lewisss, Tysons and Holyfields. Seriously, enough wit the likes of Byrd who belong in Cruiserweight, and boring boxrer like John Ruiz, AND the joke Valuev.

When an out of shape 37 year old former middleweight, that's injury prone is in the top three of the Heavy Weight division, you have to ask yourself just how good this generation of heavy's really is.

Peters skills are limited. But there is no one I would rather see fight.
