Maidana vs floyd one did 900,000 buys and maidana is relatively unknown outside of hardcores thats a good number with an unknown.

Dan rafael already said guerrero vs floyd did 870,000 and this was about a week after that fight took place.

Lol jesus christ. Hes not a big draw as u want him to be. Like i said and everyone knows the official numbers have not been releasedso its all speculation. I didnt know fat dan worked for showtime and knows about the numbers. So you think your proving ne wrong by giving me his numbers that cant even crack a mil without a big name hence my main point. Lol his last fight didnt even sell in his adopted hometown and only did 450k. Bu but they us hez nam doe

It's about what you've done for me lately. In Floyd's Showtime run he only went over 1M buys twice, against Canelo and Pacquiao the two biggest names in boxing besides himself. Mcgregor went over a mill against Aldo and late replacement Diaz, neither of which were big PPV stars.

McGregor has proven you can put any type of fighter in front of him and he'll put up over 1M. Floyd needs another huge name to come close to that mark. Especially now when the boxing PPV market is in total shambles.

I imagine Floyd can probably do around 700K with Danny Garcia, and that's a nice little figure, but McGregor could up over 1M easy fighting Frankie Edgar in August or September or w/e.

Bit of wishful thinking Conor can do an automatic 1 mil. Considering he's not undefeated in ufc killing machine afraid of no man. Ufc ppvs basically get an automatic 300k buys no matter the main event

No one in their right mind would argue that McGregor is the 'a' side. But looking at it holistically, despite who gets what, McGregor's recent numbers are very competitive with Mayweather's usual numbers; in terms of gate and ppv numbers.

What about the playing grab ass in the park plate? Is he gonna put that down too?

This dude is more delusional than Floyd himself.. only way I'd pay for this nonsense is if it was a fight to the death..then it would be so worth it..

Demetrious Johnson, Top 3 P4P fighter in MMA and world champion, his last PPV headliner which was UFC 191 did 115,000 buys.

It's not about records and dominance. McGregor came into the UFC with 2 losses. It's about interest. Right now McGregor generates more interest than pretty much anyone out there.

They're not "his" so to speak though. UFC is an entity much more than promotional outfits in boxing. The way they market and bundle their product is very different from the atmosphere of boxing. Didn't he co-headline with other big names as well in some of his recent events? Don't get it twisted, UFC has every right to say, "Hey, half of this potential audience would be ours." The notion that Connor McGregor would get a 50/50 purse split with Floyd is absurdity, UFC might get an even split however.

This interview was done before the 50 million offer and conor can't do anything without UFC permission
