On the flipside, unless this is just promotional trash talking, then I would have to believe that McGregor is ducking by pricing himself out of the fight. I mean to claim Floyd needs him? That he is in control and calls the shots? That he deserves 50/50? If he really means this and aint just trash talking, then either he is mentally ill or he is straight out ducking the fight, especially considering the videos of him getting an asswhooping in sparring, maybe he realised his limitations and decided to strategically duck the fight.

Also i dont even think the official ppv numbers were released for the maidana guerrero fights. But still didnt even crack a mil. Which is the main goal for the oh so popular froid right?

In ufc they usually stack the whoel show with a bunch of good fighters fighting either against other good fighters or against bums but theres a couple stars on the show which helps the ppvs also. How often does that happen in boxing? Usually in boxing the cards are terrible with only one fight being a superstar or 2 which is the main events. Anyways lets look at there ppv numbers :

Eh, McGregor has a point. There are no big names left in boxing, and Floyd wont get another $30mill vs. Berto-style opponent. That was a legacy of Pac fight selling so well.

So if Floyd wants $100mill, then he'll have to share it with McGregor.

His PPV numbers are very good in relation to the sport he's in. It's not like Mayweather's PPV numbers are consistently multi million buys. He's usually around the 1 million mark, which is the same as McGregor's last fights. Add to that, he's done more than 10 million at the live gate which is competitive with or beats the vast majority of Mayweather's fights. Even though he also beats that multiple times of course.

And nobody knew who the hell he was 3 years ago. His curve to that kind of money simply craps over Mayweather's.

True but dana and lorenzo get most of the money conor makes them lol. He only gets a small fraction. He did 1.6 mil PPVS against nate diaz and only got 10 million. Mayweather made 32 mill for the berto fight. Its clear who the A side is.

The point isn't who makes more, it's who brings more. McGregor brings more money.

Floyd can easily fight DSG or thurman and make 50 mill. Conor wont get 50 mill. Dana and lorenzo will. Thats the point, floyd gets the money he makes for himself. Conor is basically making it for the UFC and getting a small fraction of it.
