Immediately prior to announcing that fight, Alex Ariza stated that Pac's best weight is JWW and that he can still make 140 EASY..... so, what does Pac do?..... he drags the lightweight Marquez up to welter LMAO

Algieri was at 144...I'll give you that...Rios fight was at 145. Yet, it must be pointed out that Algieri was moving up from lightweight...actually, all the guys mentioned were moving up to welterweight. Algeiri's 1st fight at WW was a CW...shouldn't have been a problem there. Rios' better fight weight is at lightweight...shouldn't have been a problem there...oh, & Rios only complained about the CW after he lost (sour g****s?). Even Garcia had criticisms of Rios by saying that Rios is only using training camp as a fat camp...that's on Rios. And Marquez was basically a brand new WW as well...& definitely his best fight weight is not 147 (got destroyed by Bradley, remember). And you had to say it like Pacquiao was forcing JMM to come up to WW...didn't FMJ already do that 3 fights earlier?...do we get to criticize FMJ too? Or is the hate only reserved for Pacquiao? JMM wanted the fight...Pacquiao the WW champion didn't mind the fight...so, they negotiated a CW between the WW & the LW division...what's the problem there? This is how CW's work...2 popular boxers from 2 different weight classes negotiating to fight somewhere in-between. You can't just point out facts that only support your argument.

It's like, you have hate for everybody except your favorite fighters...that no one is never going to be good enough for you...even though a boxing fan always prioritizes the sport over the boxer. You're skewing the information here...all the fighters you named all lobbied for fights against Pacquiao (no matter what catchweight)...& they lobbied hardcore for the payday. All of em agreed to the catchweight...and Algieri was taking a step up from a weight division to fight him...basicaly, Pacquiao was giving him a break by not forcing him up all the way to 147...same with Rios & Marquez. He gave them a break. He even gave Margarito a break by fighting him at 152 instead of forcing 147. You're trying to make it seem like Pacquiao is the worst ever because he used catchweights...but reading between the lines, he used catchweights in a way that allowed his opponents to be closer to their prime weight as possible. The DLH fight was DLH's choice of a catchweight, pacquiao had no say. And the Cotto fight, Cotto lobbied for the payday by agreeing to 145...agreeing that, at the time, Pacquiao was a tiny fighter in comparison to him (which he was). Pacquiao would even be considered the smallest WW among all the WW's...& that's not stretching the truth. Hatton was allowed to fight closer to his prime weight as well. If you look up & down Pacquiao's resume regarding the CW's, he always gave the opponent a weight that was more suitable to their prime fighting weight. In essence, Pacquiao was looking for more of a challenge than any other boxer from his era. He's not dragging anybody up to the division. You couldn't be more wrong than that. And if anybody is to be blamed for the matchmaking, it's Top Rank. Pacquiao will always want the best challenge for his fans. Then again, most big promotion companies always look for easy matchmaking that maximizes earning potential. Otherwise, Pacquiao probably would have fought everybody. There's more information to be had if you want...try typing into youtube "proof manny pacquiao is the best fighter." The guy lays it all out for you on why Pacquiao is a warrior while canelo is not concerning catchweights. I dare you to watch that video...DARE YOU!

I wasn't 100% wrong, & you weren't 100% right. The Rios fight was at 145. I admitted when I tried to use what knowledge I had off the top of my head, & got it wrong. So what. It still doesn't excuse your trolling ways, trying to find *****s in arguments so that you can win an argument to satisfy your ego. I pretty much agree with everything you say here. I dont think Saunders is worth that kind if payday either, whether it was $3M or $1.5M. I believe K2 made a good faith offer, Id call it a generous one, in an attempt to get a unification bout. And like you said, he could lose that belt next time out and blow any potential payday against GGG. I also dont think, yet my fingers are crossed, that They Will ever fight.

Now Im going to give you a little bit of flak. Youve been calling Loeffler cheap. For the sake of argument, lets say the offer was 'only' $1.5M. (I wish I had ONLY $1.5M...) Now we've both agreed that BJS is certainly not worth the amount he was offered. So we cant call Tom cheap for bidding beyond both our valuations. There is a difference between cheap and 'broke' lol. I heard a rumor that HBO is saving all this money from boxing to go ALL-IN on UFC once their contract with Fox is up. The deal fell through back in 2007 and their still kicking themselves in the @ss for it...

HBO continues to buy GGG fight because he's vastly under paid and usually makes between $1-2 million. So they can get a fight done under $3.5 million. But once he starts making more they're probably not gonna buy all these mismatches??? No matter how HIGH the CAN is ranked. Boxing is in a VERY tough spot right now. And we could REALLY of used the GGG/Canelo fight.
