whoever finished atop of the pile would be a great opponent for GGG
you also have to take into account the wildcards like Soro/Culcay/Hatley. The fact that there's twin champions will also be an obstacle, and the fact that Lara trains with Jermall.

Look, I'm all for unifications but how many of these fights are likely to happen ? I'd say maybe one....in 18 months time.

Just because a lot of them are American it doesn't make the division deep.
I sorta agree, I wasn't impressed with anybody last night. The first Charlo was getting outboxed and needed a freak moment to win. Second Charlo is powerful and big for the weight, but slow and has no head movement, pretty much fought Trout to a draw. And Lara was his usual one dimensional self with no second gear. I'm fully expecting J Rock, Andrade and the other guys coming up to seize this division and hopefully impress.

He did look huge last night. But if he can make 154, all the power to him.

andrade and williams vs. the charlos will be mandated shortly and should happen before the end of the year. not sure whether smith will ever step up, but if andrade and williams dispose of the charlos like i believe they will, i believe those two will be willing enough to face each other and lara in a timely fashion. there is potentially a very short path to unification if we ignore the WBO. the winner (probably andrade imo) should be ready to face GGG at the end of 2017 or early 2018, and it will be a big legacy fight for both

Agreed, none of those guys stepped up on a card built just for them to look good on. Lara as usual, will neevr change gear, especially aged 34 or whatever he is.

But he shouldn't have been barking about fighting at 160 if he ain't got no bite. I think he realised he was starting to believe his own hype and the Trout fight was a massive wake up call. When you have a distinct height and reach advantage and you barely win (draw imo), then there is a serious problem.

Yeah, I have been impressed with Andrade and I'd be very impressed if the fights you mentioned take place. Again, I doubt they do. Maybe one will happen.

Who does Haymon have at 160 besides Quillin and Jacobs?

154 is way deeper on PBC/Showtime.
