    Jermall don't want 160

LOL All that talk and he's staying at 154lb. Nothing wrong with that but none of thee Americans want a challenge these days and their growth is being stunted because of that. I'm seeing fighters regress (DG for example), rather than improve.

    Sad times.

Sad times? Cuz a guy with a very low ceiling as a fighter knows his own limitations? Lol, I call it being smart; no way he beats Canelo, Lemeiux ,GGG, Jacobs, Lee, heck even a smaller and past it Cotton could do a number on him if motivated.

As long as he is fighting the likes of Williams, Andrade, Vanes or one of the other top 154lbers then i dont see a problem.

I think 154 is a better division at the moment anyway, barring GGG and Canelo (depending which weight he is even fighting at)

        Good!

I'm amped for Jermall Charlo vs Julian Williams. That's going to be an awesome fight (I hope).

Honestly there is more interesting **** at 154 if these mfers would fight each other. Problem is it seems like the top 3 guys, Lara & the Charlo brothers are all cool & won't fight. This is like if Tyson, Hughie & one of those other Fury's brothers/nephews were all on Tyson's level & all were atop the HW division.

Things are looking bleak at 154 & 160.

I predict 154 to be the same as its been more or less unless J-Rock (who I feel he's a lil overrated) can upset the apple cart & knock off Charlo 1, Charlo 2 & Lara one by one. And 160 is gonna be GGG fighting bs mandatory's now that he has all the belts cuz the juice still isn't going to be worth the squeeze so the more interesting fights he could have won't happen. And Canelo creating some 155 division where 147 guys come up to for the fight that'll get the most hype among all the guys at 154/160. LOL. Kinda hilarious, but kinda f#cked up cuz I definitely think this could be what goes down.

tbh, J-Rock is still unproven. He's done a lot of barking, and now he'll have the chance to prove his mettle. I hope PBC doesn't marinate this one, it should happen before year's end.

Edwards mentioned August is the target date. I could see J-Rock showing alot of the skills he was using vs Centeno on Charlo.

I was getting annoyed with all the talk about how 'deep' 154 is on the Showtime broadcast. It was great to see so many top guys in a division fight each other on the one card (props to PBC), but most of these guys are very much unproven. Just because a lot of them are American it doesn't make the division deep.

i'd prefer all of those 154 lbers to try and unify before they move up anyway

                  jermell vs. andrade
                  jermall vs. williams
                  lara vs. smith

                  then winners vs. winners

whoever finished atop of the pile would be a great opponent for GGG

Nothing wrong with his decision, he actually has an opportunity to win all the belts with his brother. That would be a great family achievement. Furthermore fighters should take more time and consideration when deciding to move up. Mayweather and Pac had people fooled into thinking it was an easy process.....in actuality it's very hard to do successfully.
