That's a fallacy. So, GGG doesn't rely on his technique & movement too? And GGG is said to be the best in the world at cutting off the ring...you add his preternatural power to that combo, & that leaves Lara nowhere to hide. Seriously, the power is real. As soon as Lara feels it, it's more likely he'll run rather than relying on his technique...he'll run to get the moral victory of not being KO'ed. Everyone who has ever fought GGG will tell you to your face that his power is real. So, for me to believe that someone who's a smaller boxer who doesn't have a strong inside game, is somehow going to beat GGG? You have to do a lot more convincing than that.

Golovkin needs to set to be effective.

The only things more over-rated than " powah " are lineal, and P4P.

That's where " levels " comes in.

Golovkin is only fighting opponents who are " available ", and he is avoiding the movers/spoilers..... I wanna know why.

You made a couple of points

1) Saunders doesn't have to fall in line he gets a pass. Jacobs (Later this week) and Alvarez (before he Vacated) will be/ would of been mandatory fights dictated by the governing bodies of the titles they hold/held. Not bending to the will of Golovkin but rather the will of the Governing body.

2) I agree that there is no reason that the fight shouldn't be made if weight is not an issue.

How could weight possibly be an issue..... ?

1) GGG stated that he can beat " anyone from 154-168 " for 3 years

2) he was willing to negotiate on the weight with Mayweather, Cotto, Brook

3) the " mando doe " excuse got burnt when Canelo dumped the belt

It's called shifting...an old-school technique. Duran used to do it all the time...Tyson used D'Amato shift all the stardom. It helps give power to his punches. And that power leads to KO's...which might be why the majority of the top 160's don't want any part of GGG. Talk about availability?...yea, only if the other guy wants some....why don't you go ask the other movers/spoilers why they avoid GGG? Go study up on shifting if you want to. Pirog was even better at it than GGG.

After those body punches started to land, Lara began backpedaling. And it wasn't a low blow at all! Vanes made this fight more interesting. It could have gone both way. Lara was just more accurate with head punches

Absolutely correct. I thought the fight should have been ruled at the least a draw. That "low blow" was right at the belt line and the ref takes a point away from Vanes. Terrible. Vanes was more aggressive landed excellent body shots and I think got robbed. Lara is slick, excellent boxer, but wouldn't last if someone could run him down. Suffice it to say that GGG would fold him like a pretzel.

that is easy to say but really hard to do it against a guy with Lara's accuracy, or didn't you see all the straight left that Lara landed, and he was fighting a light heavyweight in vanes...

Vanes was doubling on the hook constantly, though. He just never mixed it up. It was always to the body. He might have been able to win more rounds if he started throwing body then head, head then body, get Lara thinking about where that left hook is going to go rather than letting know be content to block or absorb the body shots. Maybe he would have caught Lara like Angulo did.

Not saying it is a certainty he would win or anything, but Vanes made a big mistake in that regard.

Nah, I mean that he needs to set, and often doesn't shift well, he steps.

But the point is, he fights mostly lower-level static opponents, so like everything, it's hard to tell..... that's why I said he seems to be avoiding the movers/spoilers, and I wanna know why.

I'm sure you know that everything looks better against lower-level comp.

That's why I said the next step comes down to levels.

No, that is ridiculous.....

1) an adult human being is 100% responsible, and therefore 100% accountable, for the words/actions of his OFFICIAL representatives

2) Tom Loeffler also made that same comment on numerous occasions

3) Sanchez/Loeffler made that comment for THREE YEARS, they essentially used that statement to build Golovkin's reputation

4) I don't recall hearing Gennady deny it, quite the opposite in fact

And if Gennady is not willing to negotiate, he will proceed to kick rocks.
