    Is Uchiyama retired?

Simple enough question. Haven't heard about his future. The big money Walters fight is dead. Does he retire?

Theres been no announcements or rumours

Watanabe is infamously secretive though, they aren't as big as the other established gyms

I'm still saddened by him losing, but age does catch up to everyone. The only two non-British boxers i've met are him and Tavoris Cloud, lol.

Yeah, it was weird loss then again, some fighters do age over night. Maybe he can come back from that but like I posted before that particular fight, he had been slipping for a while and I think his motivation levels were dropping due to injuries and inactivities. It's a shame we never got any big fights with him in them.

At one stage, I had him as a p4p entrant, he was that good. Maybe Walters can fight his conqueror and then defend v Uchiyama?

He should have never lost to the guy he did. The guy looked amateurish at most points just throwing wild punches. Not sure what happened.

The guy who beat him looked decent enough but not spectacular, I think he's likely done but haven't heard anything.
