But he's heavy built for 154.

Look at cotto vs. Canelo. Canelo was way bulkier.

Cotto is about 154 built right now.
Your a fool if you think Cotto is an average 154 pounder. Compare Canelo to the Charlo brothers. Or Angulo. Or Lara. Or Martirosyan. Or Trout. Or Kirkland. He's about their size. This idea that just because you rehydrate to 170 you are a middleweight is ridiculous. Because those other guys do it too. Clottey was rumored to had jumped to 170 against Judah, but that still wouldn't of made him "As big" as GGG or other real middleweights.

And that's the truth, and you all know it.

The rest of the talent is hiding up Al Haymon's at 154, which is also, nothing special.

Everybody who knows anything about boxing, understands this.
So why did he choose to fight a chinny welterweight? Don't use the Haymon excuse because Khan is a Haymon fighter.

He has a twin brother. that's not even a joke. Google it.

Even throwing GGG aside, how many top 10 middleweights would Canelo even beat? Not many IMO, and even then just barely. But that's just being truthful.
He's the same size as Hagler, taller than Duran & Mugabi. Stop babying this dude. He's a two division world champ who can't make 154, won't fight at 160. So he's entitled to make up his own weight class?

Haymon has plans for his little projects Charles brothers Williams, his little projects, he's not pitting them against Canelo, are you nuts?

Khan was chosen For the name, for a PPV. People know who Khan is. You can't put Martin Murray Andy Lee Macklin Lemiuex (maybe Lemeuoex) Stevens and them on PPV.

Why the **** do people act like they don't know this ****. It's common ****ing sense.

Get it together stop playing dumb people!

Without a doubt. He'd probably have better stamina too since he wouldn't have to boil down to 155. He's not going to be able to physically keep doing this he's simply buying time with the 155 crap. Don't forget, he tried to fight Cotto at 156.

Haymon is the go to excuse when people want to pass off some BS. You say in your post that Khan was chosen because he's a name. Which I agree. Khan was also the mandatory to Garcia. So it would've made more sense to keep Khan for the Garcia fight.

Haymon just let both of his heavyweight champ go overseas to fight. Haters like you swore up and down Wilder would vacate. Or Haymon wouldn't let him go. But he did. Martin went overseas to fight Joshua in his first defense. If Haymon had some diabolical scheme like your claim, he couldn't saved Martin for Wilder after the Povetkin fight. Or if he had some diabolical scheme he could've forced the GGG-Wade fight to purse bid and either won and forced GGG to vacate or lost and got Wade overpaid.

Stop with the Haymon blame game. You were lied to and led to believe Haymon & Floyd were the reasons the big fights didn't get made. Haymon isn't the reason GGG-Canelo didn't get made.

And there are plenty of other legit 154 & 160 fighters that aren't with Haymon like Andrade & Curtis Stevens. Stevens has said he can make 157 so if Canelo was serious about fighting GGG he would've fought him. But it wouldn't have been PPV. That's why the choose Khan. It was a pure money grab

Yes he would be at 160. Don't just blame Canelo though, blame his 'owners'

Idk, but I know it couldn't hurt his chances.

When Canelo can't fight 154 pounders at 155 anymore... his career will be over. Oscars knows. Everyone with a brain knows it too. He won't hack it at 160 against 160 pounders, he's too small and weak for that. And that's not even including GGG, who'd beat him bad. But eh.
