Need to look at the WBO rankings at welterweight. After Brook wins this title he may drop the IBF and live off that win for awhile and fight several soft touches, although I don't consider Vargas that hard a fight

That would be very disappointing, I think the Vargas fight is a step in the right direction, but a Garcia or Thurman would be great to see.

Fear of going to the UK, or anywhere else is understandable, but that's not the issue. It's the fear of leaving the UK, in this case, but home in general. Kell has made a rep and lived off of the one fight he had on the road. That should tell him something.

If he can take brooks shots and keep coming forward his best shot is grinding kell down but as I said brook is a big lump at the weight

the only time Vargas has faced a top opponent in B level Tim Bradley, he lost 11 and half rounds.

If Tim can push him around, Brook who is much bigger will also push him around

Vargas is a C level boxer at best, i gave him 15% chance at winning

When Brook is up against someone who poses a genuine threat, then he will get credit

Unless they get a massive fight it's not worth it for UK fighters to fight abroad, they make more money fighting in the UK. Their opponents usually make more too, Vargas has already turned down a $1.6 million offer, 3x what he got paid for Bradley.
