So it doesn't count? 😂😂😂😂Golovkin is a 1 division fraud. You know Floyd would give up 15 pounds on fight night but to you he's only Black.Comment

There are definitely posters here who became much more negative toward ggg right around the time he passed ward on the pfp list. Coincidence? Who gives a **** about pfp really tho...boxing is in a sad state right now. Big fights aren't getting made for this reason or that, and there seems to be people happy some fights don't get made just so they can **** on opposing fans.

He never gave up 15lbs to a top p4per, in fact I'm not sure he ever conceded any weight to p4per, since drained Corrales, never mind 15lbs. Maybe Hatton? Has he even fought a smaller guy of Wards ability? Maybe washed up Pac?Comment

This is very true. Canelo-Golovkin, Kovalev-Stevenson, Brook-Khan are all fights that should be easily made. Take all of the extra belts away and they'd be more likely to happen. No guarantees of course, but maybe that could make a difference. In the 70s and before, these issues about getting fights made weren't around as much, if at all. Time to man up.There are definitely posters here who became much more negative toward ggg right around the time he passed ward on the pfp list. Coincidence? No real boxing fans hate on GGG.I remember that a few years ago, GGG was a beast that nobody wanted to fight. His star began rising but the competition wasn't mind blowing. Still, he was fun to watch and was rolling over world-ranked contenders. Pretty positive stuff from most fans.
But when Ring magazine elevated him up the pound for pound list, a lot of hate started to come out then. It seemed like he was no longer a compliment to the sport, but some seemed threatened that he might actually hold some sway over big fights. To me, this is one key factor in all the hatred that now comes his way.
Any thoughts?
The man is everything you want in a fighter:
Fan friendly style
Fights everyone, ducks no one
KO artist
Slick boxer
High character
Humble
Wastes no time and goes straight to work in the ring
Offers B-sides like Canelo good deals
What else do you want in a fighter? Seriously.Comment
