i'm really not sure i understand what's going on, or that i even want to. this is sad, sad, sad. just f#cking look at jermain taylor, a guy who was once heralded as the next big thing, and who ended the reign of a great fighter in bernard hopkins. looking like a nutcase and shackled is not how i wanted to see him end his career.


taylor was "accused" of shooting his cousin...? and he received a continuance for it? anybody have any more information on what facts came out, if he admitted to them, etc?


then he shoots his gun and threatens famiy... again.. and again it is continued / suspended?

and finally, he beats up a dude in rehab.. and it's continued?


pardon me, but doesn't that seem f#cking batsh#t crazy? two shootings, one where he actually hit somebody, and an ass whooping at an institution, and he gets 120 hours of community service and probation? am i missing something? were there not enough facts / evidence to prove anything regarding the shooting?

While I certainly agree the guy needs help. He has no business in the general public. If the options were freedom or jail, his ass needs to be in jail.

Man tough crowd here. I mean he did apologize. What more is he supposed to do.

Taylor apologized for his actions in court Friday.

The Arkansas ********-Gazette reports that a Pulaski County Circuit judge on Friday suspended Taylor's 19-year sentence. That means Taylor won't have to go to prison as long as he stays out of trouble, submits to drug testing and performs 120 hours of community service.

Although I will go out on a limb (lol) & say there is a 0% chance he doesn't f#ck this up cuz there is no way he'll stay out of trouble. I give it anywhere from a week to a year before he f#cks up & he's locked up looking at that 19 years.

And randomly was Jermain on drugs or is he claiming he was on drugs during any of these incidents? My assumption is he just gots some CTE **** going on cuz Jermain was a mild mannered mfer early in his career with a nice WNBA wife with 2-4 kids iirc. Now this mfer shooting up parades & ****. I think thats some beyond drugs alterations that have happened to Jermain.
