from Loeffers mouth:
"No, I haven't heard from his camp," said Tom Loeffler, the Managing Director of K2 Promotions, who has masterfully handled the career of 'GGG' the past few years."We're still trying to figure out the next date and what the next opponent for Gennady. Lara had his win on Friday but we're just going through to see who's the best opponent for Gennady at this point."But given the current politics that exist - Lara is affiliated with Al Haymon and Premier Boxing Champions - is this match-up even realistic?Loeffler answered - "I mean from our side we're pretty neutral. We do have an exclusive contract with HBO. I haven't approached the topic yet with HBO, if they would even approve someone like Lara. But if that becomes more of a serious conversation, that's something we'll certainly approach them with."
You cannot go cherry picking rhetoric because it suits you M.O
It even says he hasnt talked to HBO about Lara.
He mentions "Lara had his win on Friday" Meaning it was less than a week after the fight.Comment

Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs), believes Erislandy Lara (21-2-2, 12KOs) has done absolutely nothing to deserve a shot at his boxer. In the last few months, Lara - who holds the WBA/IBO titles at junior middleweight - has demanded a fight with Golovkin. Lara is not alone. Former WBC 154-pound champion Sergio Mora was also calling for a shot at Golovkin.
Now, I will sit down in my armchair, and wait for the spin.
OK, I'm ready.... go !
Oh, and guys.....
..... please include the Mora " spin " as well..... because despite Sanchez admitting that he refused Mora as well, Loeffler had actually refused Mora 18 months earlier...... and yep, you guessed it..... we did not get 1 genuine reason, we got a pile of silly excuses, just like with the others.
How obvious does it need to be...... ?
If you are a mover/spoiler, you will not fight Golovkin..... but if you are "available", and Golovkin can land on you, then you go to the top of the list.
They will fight Eubank next.Comment

Lying?
From Sanchez's own mouth...
"When Tom came to me and offered Lara and Sergio Mora, I'm the one who said 'I don't want those fights.' I'm the one who said that before there was a chance to have it discussed with Gennady. I told that to Tom, because first of all Lara has not earned the right to fight Golovkin. And the reason I say that is because he takes fights like Delvin, and Delvin is not a bad fighter but he doesn't belong at that level. He struggled with Delvin. Yes he won every round but he didn't do what he needed to do in order to be in the mix," Sanchez explained to BoxingScene.com.
"I don't know why he took his foot off the gas. He could have had Delvin out of there but he didn't. He could have done more to Canelo but he didn't. So that doesn't make him appealing to me and our team - and that's the reason why I turned him down."
(November 2015)
Dante: What was the response of team Golovkin when you guys formally reached out to them
Lara's manager: well formally we didn't reach out to them.

However Lara's manager is his manager and he helps manage Lara's career.Comment

Sanchez is the trainer he doesn't control GGGs career, Sanchez talks as much **** as Roach as much **** as Atlas... their job is to train the fighters not to promote or make their career decisions.
However Lara's manager is his manager and he helps manage Lara's career.
And when he did Loeffler accepted itComment
