Canelo built his fan base on false premise

Canelo built his fan base on being a warrior who fights the best--guys from the division below him.

Now that view is being challenged.

It's bad when Dan Rafael calls for a boycott of Canelo fights. Basically that's what he did today.

            You totally missed his point.

Last time I checked GGG was trying to fight Canelo, who De La Hoya says is p4p best. Right.

Funny, GGG is ducked by a lot of good fighters, and all he's done is fight bums. Something seems really off about that, what is everyone so frightened about.

which good fighters ducked GGG? Certainly not Andre Ward.

Boxing is weak. The suits are guiding fighters away from solid competition of fear of losing to fighters that could also make their fighters great and better. Canelo reluctantly duck GGG I am sure.

Canelo just wrote his name in the history of boxing who got KOed by intimidation alone

A view which begs a couple of questions:

                    1) What type if men fight only when they're certain they'll win?

                    2) What is it exactly that we are supporting here?

It certainly isn't sport. I am not entertained. If I wanted to feast my eyes on business decisions I'd buy the Financial Times and read the ****in' FTSE index.

I have an honest question for you. Outside of a Floyd rematch, which isn't going to happen, what fight for Canelo would generate the highest PPV figures for him right now?

Look, Triple G is definitely the B-side, I make no bones about that, but a fight against him would be the biggest fight, sales-wise that Canelo could make. It would generate big numbers.
