This is a very tough one for me cuz I gotta go with my country man vargas but I'm also a big brook fan honestly brook got more hands but Jesse has shown he can compete with the best and on his last fight he made a lot of people rethink about him it's a tough one can't decide gotta give major props to vargas for taking that fight too a lot a lot of cats out there been ducking brook

Not the best fight in the world seeing as I don't rate Vargas highly, but he's better than the Biziers of the world. Plus it's a unification.

Not really a fan of Brook's clownish style but this should be a good fight. Hopefully more punches are thrown than clinches.

Would be funny if Vargas went in and whooped him. I don't wanna say Vargas is juicing (Kell is suspect too so whatevs) but he looks like a different animal now.

You have a point - I think I underrate Brook myself. I realize he has a nice skills set, he is good....but i don't know why I am not convinced?

Maybe it was the first Jones fight. And then I got to see him fight Porter in person and I came away thinking he isn't that fast for a WW. VERY physically strong, sturdy as hell, accurate...but maybe slower than people realize.

I see Vargas as one of the more seasoned young fighters out there so I think it will be more than a showcase - but again I could be underestimating Brook. LEt's see it

I wouldn't put too much stock in the first Jones fight. It was well known in the UK back then that Kell was making weight horribly, didn't even have proper people around him to advise how to make weight and also wasn't really living a fighters lifestyle, partying all the time. He had been killing himself to make weight and just draining himself which is why for a short time his stamina looked awful, even was getting buzzed quite a bit with shots.

Since then they have brought in top quality people to get him on point with his weight correctly and he takes the game more seriously. He looks a lot stronger for it.

I do wonder how long he can comfortably make 147 for though. He's 30 now and he's not a small guy. You can see how much weight he gains between fights and it's not totally through bad habits. I think 147 is still a massive challenge for him in terms of getting the weight off but he does it much better than before. I walked past him once in person, although i'm taller than him, i wondered how the hell makes 147 compared to some other WW fighters i've seen in person.

Vargas is about to down the Englishmen and put the welters on notice. I got him by TKO 11th, he'll pressure him better than what Carson Jones did and he's more accurate than Porter(arguably just as strong). Looking forward to this, watch for the 1-2 Jessie!

I think your right Carson Jones is not World class to have a struggle with him before you was champ is not good
