    Born to fight?

Do you believe that someone was born with their fightin talents, or can you learn how to grace the ring.

I believe Tyson was born to fight, his size and power and speed was unnatural. However if you look at Mayweather his whole family are fighters but Mayweather has been trained since he was born.

Im 19 and i done martial arts for 2 years and i was probably one of the best in my dojo, and ive started some boxing training but do you believe that you can learn how to fight like a true champion?..

Some are born to fight, but that don't mean they are any good at it. Gotta have some special talent and a decent chin.

You could be born to fight, but you got to really wanted to be successful. Your talent will only take you so far, if your heart ain't in it.

Aaron Pryor was a born fighter, and you can't deny that.

You couldn't train what he had. That's just innate.

Nigel Benn was born to fight, it was second nature to him according to his older brothers.

Its all in the upbringing. If they are raised like ******* then they will be. If they are raised to be strong...

It has to do with the enviornment that kids grow up in, nobody is born a fighter. They are molded by things that happen in their lives and by their surroundings.

                  Yeah,

You know what I've found compelling....was Oscar De La Hoya never had a streetfight his entire life. He's the kind of guy that will talk his way out of a fight with someone...but when he gets into the ring (Used To) be a total badass. But since he grew up in a family of boxers...that was how he became molded into the world class fighter he is. He's so highly skilled, and has spent so many years in the gym....it became second nature to him.

On the other hand....look at Fernando Vargas. He's the kind of guy that will look for someone in a street fight, and would never consider backing down in a confrontation. I've always been perplexed as to this subject...because the common mindset would be the street guy would impose his will on the "weaker" guy in the ring.

Boxing is so strange that it doesn't work that way. Another example...is Wladimir Klitschko. He's a class guy, who probably never had a streetfight his entire life either (Well I'm unsure) but he's not a tough guy. He's a master at the sport that is physically gifted...and can impose his dominance in other areas. Like using his size, jab, reach etc.

Good post. The golden boy is a master in the ring.

So at my tender age of 19...could i still have what it takes to be world champion (lol only kiddin), or atleast become a good boxer?

Im not a street fighter, only had one fight ever in my life, but when ive sparred with my friends, i don't know what it is but im pretty good.

                    Well...compared to them i am.
