as a fan, Im disappointed. Its no deeper than that. This was the biggest fight and it seems it may not happen this year.

It makes a difference man. Would you prefer more fighters get handed belts. How would you feel if they stripped Fury and gave 2/3 belts to Wilder. Its not cool, Id rather see the fights. Im a boxing fan, not a promoter or negotiator.

thats all he took. the WBC belt. Another meaningless belt he didnt win in the ring. Get ready for the bum of the month club of mandatories. Mark my words.

Canelo can fight at 154 and be fine of catchweights and make money. PPV money, while GGG is fighting nobodies we'd have to google. Yeah how awesome. I want to see the fights

Canelo shouldve been a man, but it isnt some great accomplishment to be handed 2/3 of your belts.

King Chocolatito had a few champions "Move Up" in category(plain old ducking) rather than face him, two of them are Ioka and Reveco, but hey at least they moved up and won championship belts for themselves, but this ***** Canelo is plain old vacating and not even moving up or down, this ***** of a Diva backed by GBP has created a division for himself(155), this right here is what is ruining boxing.

It isn't an accomplishment to be one of the most feared fighters of all time? Getting a great champion to lay his belt at your feet, paying tribute like some conquered *****. It's extremely impressive, and i wont back down from that.

its impressive to you...cool....it isnt to me. I never knew seeing someone being handed a belt was a big deal. were you impressed when they gave away rigondeaux' belts?

Tyson came up fighting no names just like GGG, but the difference is once he got his first title, he blew away just about anyone who held a claim to the title at the time and before he got his belt. Spinks tried to duck him. The fight happened. the difference is we saw tyson win all his belts IN THE RING. THAT IMPRESSES ME!

GGG has 3 of the major titles, good for him. Then you look at his resume and see who he actually fought in his career and the reaction "Meh, a few decent fighters and mostly no names."

Using this analogy shows you are out of ammunition. The situations are so different for you to bring this up is laughable. Just admit you hate GGG.... Idk why but obviously you have an agenda against the guy. I'm going to stop this arguement, because you aren't objective. To bring up rigg is just sooooo laughable. gg...

Golovkin can't get the other middleweights into the ring... It's really sad that we don't get the compelling fights however but GGG has them that scared.

Reminds of those schoolyard days when there was that one kid with the hands that nobody wanted to mess with no matter what. GGG is that man at middleweight right now.

And his mandatories have avoided him. It's unbelievable how frightened the middleweight division is of this man.

                      Weird thing to celebrate.
