    Weird thing to celebrate.
only ones celebrating are his die hard fans.....we all took a loss with this happening. Get ready for the mandatory after mandatory to keep the belts excuse.

There is only one belt left. No one even cares anymore. We just dont want anyone Monroe's or Ishida;s.

this sucks for us all and GGG fanatics will see in the end, when his career has all those shouldve couldve on it. The guy is too old to waste time on no names.

The only people on this forum that I've seen celebrating is Canelo's fans who are applauding him for dropping a belt to avoid his mandatory.

However, personally I am extremely impressed that GGG's contemporaries treat him as some unbeatable boxing god. They must know something you don't. He's so good in fact that they will destroy their reputations just to avoid getting in the ring with him. I'm quite surprised that you aren't even mildly impressed, well not really. You're a hater.

Everyone in boxing wanted to see Canelo vs GGG. I guess At least with Geale he ended up fighting him a bit later.
I made an observation as well. Of course we'd be better off if we got the fight.

whose criticizing him over it? Just pointing out the truth.

No, didn't say it was his fault. It's Canelo and ODH to blame for this.

That said. what I posted is 100% fact and not something I would celebrate.

Canelo vacating just makes it worse for all of us, GGG fans included. Yes GGG gets the belt, but the biggest fight in the sport is in jeopardy, on the heels of the 3rd biggest fight (behind fury/wlad 2) being cancelled.

GGG getting the belt is a very hollow accomplishment but it isn't his fault that canelo/odh acted like this.

Its a credit to his talent people avoid him like they do. Respect Gennady.

I mean f#ck even Spinks didn't avoid Tyson like guys avoid GGG. And Tyson had guys damn near ****ting themselves before the bell rung. Idk if it the era when you'd rather **** yourself in the ring than avoid a guy or if GGG is more scary than Tyson to lose to (idk how that could be cuz GGG is destructive, but nowhere near as destructive as Tyson was).

Not anybody that I know of. He will go down as one of the most ducked fighters ever. Martinez, Cotto, Quillin, Canelo... The list just keeps growing. And thankfully, the belts pile up. He should be unified champion within the year and the good thing for him is he may not even have to fight to do it. Now THAT'S impressive.

UFC guys are fighting for chump change in comparison and I don't see them acting like a bunch of spoilt little greedy child's and there are plenty of spoilt kids in boxing nowadays.
You'd be a fool to suggest that Mayweather is the first diva in boxing.

GGG took much more than Canelo's title yesterday, much more.
