Would WBC banned Canelo for dumping their Middleweight Belt?

WBC not happy on Canelo dumping their belt and not following their artificial deadline...

Would WBC eventually banned Canelo from fighting for one of their belts in the future?

Sulaiman sr. is rolling in his grave with his son and WBC ****in up the history.

A can crushing champ gets a paper belt while the "real" champ drops the belt like it was a burrito straight off the iron.

Jesus, thank god for real throwbacks like Ward, Kovalev,Steve Cunningham, Fury, Porter, and etc.

Too many divas and "businessmen" in boxing..not enough guys who truly want the best of the best as their opponents. Smfh

If by some miracle, GGG vs Canelo fight pushes through in September, would WBC sanctioned this fight? It will be very hard for WBC to sanction a boxer who just recently dumped a WBC belt.

I would bet money that they would happily sanction it.

WBC is in the money-making business, and fact of the matter is that Canelo Vs. GGG brings in very good money for them.

HBO should take some of the blame for this mess. They can use their platform to force this fight with "careful persuasion."

Probably... and besides WBC is a Mexico based organization and they like it for a Mexican warrior boxer to proudly display their belt instead of dumping it in the garbage.

Naw would set a bad precedent. Also it's not like Canelo pulled a Rid**** Bowe and straight threw the belt in the trash. He vacated like many people have in the past. No reason for the WBC to take it personal, obviously its business.

They would gladly accept a sanctioning fee from Canelo whenever he fights GGG.
