bro....have you ever had a shoulder injury or been around someone with one.....you cant lift your arm past parallel to the ground without pain shooting throw your shoulder and arm man......be for real.....dude fought twelve rounds missed all those punches. They couldnt agree on if the injury happened during the fight in round 3-4 or before the fight. either way you are not fighting with a tear let alone not showing pain, no rub down or complaint in the corner. I have seen plenty of fights where the fighter injured their shoulder. Its obvious they are hurt. Manny didnt bring it up post fight , he just say Floyd do nothing, he move too much. He didnt say, "my shoulder was killing me"
you cant be that gullible. The man they wanted to win, didnt win so they had a ready made excuse between the post fight interview and press conference.Comment

I don't know what he did. I never claimed that. All I asked was for people to look at the evidence I posted and draw a conclusion. That's all. From all of the evidence, doesn't this seem odd to you? How can he claim that swimming was his primary rehabilitation method in the early stages of rehab when every single rehabilitation guideline prohibits swimming? How is he playing basketball at 3 months when Kobe first took a shot at 7 months after having the same surgery? It doesn't add up. Something is off here, and that's all I'm saying. It doesn't appear to have been a full thickness tear.Comment

I never seen a poll about this topic. I just wanted to see what BoxingScene thinks of it once and for all. After this thread, I'm definitely leaving it alone. I know it's been over a year and it's time to move on, but this fight was a historic moment. Just wanted a final gauge of what real boxing fans think.
Whether the poll turns out the way I want it or not, I'll respect the results and be done with it.Comment

as it has been mention before, i believe even roy and joe cortez said the same thing. they said when u're in there, your body is moving, heated up, so u might not be able to feel the full pain of your injury until the fight is over and your body has gone back down to its normal state. i cant believe u're basing this off your injury and because pac didnt act the same way u did, its fake. lmao! its clear we dont see eye to eye here so im done with u.
was there any indication of pain?
did he get a rub down?
Im not basing it just on my experience but people I know, athletes ive seen with similar injuries, and people who fought through injuries mid fight
its simple.....a tear is severe, a strain is mild....so this guy had a severe shoulder tear.....after the fight, his adrenaline was down when he was interviewed and didnt even mention it to max kellerman. They conveniently wait til the post fight conference. Now he is holding his arm complaining.
I bet you are done with me because the severity of the injure was clearly fabricated so he could save face.Comment

Funny you say that, because that's exactly what some of the posters who are saying the doctor would never do that are saying about Mayweather who it is clear had to have a physician sign off on the TUE form.
The rehabilitation time doesn't add up. The video evidence and him not going to rehab doesn't add up. The evidence is really overwhelming. And most of the people voting otherwise say it's because of the doctor, but it's not like the doctor was under oath. In the least, doesn't something seem off about this injury?
Isn't this what this thread is about? Convince people Manny lied and there is something more sinister going on? If this is your way of thinking then there is no reason why its not believable Floyd paid off USADA, right?
And no, i dont think there is any thing su****ious about the injury. It was not dealt with very well in releasing information, but i think it existed.Last edited by Slick_Rick; 05-19-2016, 11:02 AM.Comment

Torn rotator cuff red mark @ right shoulder.
Dr.Neal ElAttrache (the same doctor who performed the surgery on Kobe Bryant's). Explains Pacquiao's rotator cuff injury.

The question here is if it is believable that it was a full thickness rotator cuff injury. The doctor claimed one tendon was completely torn, and up to half of another one. If by sinister you mean that Paquiao and his team, including the doctor, embellished the injury, yes that's what I believe. If you look at the evidence which includes videos, medical documentation, testimony, you see that something doesn't add up. He claimed to be healed in 3 months by salt water. Come on now. Was this a partial rotator cuff tear? Is that why the injury and rehabilitation specialist that was hired by ESPN and stated that she talked directly to the surgeon came back and reported a partial rotator cuff tear, not a full rotator cuff tear?Comment
