Golovkin will likely never fight on PPV again.

Canelo is young, he will create a legacy..... but Golovkin is old and his resume will always be questioned...... as will the fake claim to Hopkins record for successful defences.

Immediately following the Pepe Le Pew fight, Team Golovkin stated that Gennady can beat anyone at 154..... so why don't they just fight Canelo instead of making excuses?
Canelo can be a 20 division world champ as long as he keeps making up weight classes. 155, 155.25, 155.5, 155.75, 156 etc... he going after mannys record.

Because he would have a real shot at losing. When GGG said that 3 years ago ward didn't step up but 3 years later he does and you want GGG to honor his word? Ok cool then Floyd has to do the same right now with GGG cause he called him out right? Gtfoh with your hated, ignorance and fanboyism

          Chuck, be more honest.

Forget that 3 year gap dude, they stated that they could beat anyone from 154-168 LAST YEAR.

I said that they have been making that comment for THREE YEARS, not that they made it three years ago.

And only last August Team Golovkin stated that Gennady could beat everyone at 154.

According to their recent claims, Golovkin could have fought Ward AND Canelo..... but he chose not to, and he used weight as an excuse.

Both sides have said they are still negotiating, without the enforced timeline.

Would you give Golovkin an enforced 45% split when you know it should be in the 70/30 region?

              You're not answering my questions.

Again, Canelo's options aren't as great as what you think.

You don't know he'll get Brook, and I think it's realistic that GG gets to Jacobs and Saunders first.

Again, sooner or later Canelo will have to move up to MW. Because he'll have run out of CW's and his body won't hold out.

              Then what?

If when he steps up to MW, GG has all of the belts, what does Canelo do?

He'd be in a position where he couldn't go any lower, he couldn't go any higher, and GG would have all the belts.

              Canelo would be stuck.

Lara is a JMW, who you'd probably have criticised if he'd have fought him.

FACT: According to Team Golovkin, Gennady could have fought Lara, but he chose not to.

Canelo then put in a voluntary to fight a WW, and was supposed to be fighting GG next. But he's not because he's bottled it.

I'm pretty sure that Canelo and Golden Boy want to wait until Golovkin either loses or begins to show his age before a fight will be finalized.

I told everyone that manny-weight was a nasty precedent.

It is funny-as-fk to watch pacstain's defend manny-weight, while they bash canelo-weight.
