This is potentially big news because UFC is apparently up for sale, although Dana White denies it.

If UFC is sold the dynamics could change and having someone like Floyd behind an MMA fighter could be helpful.

Idk about that even if they were selling 100% of the UFC (allegedly only 15% or less of the UFC will be sold & that will be to get them into the Asian market & could be a first step into the Fertitta brothers getting into the NFL business), but they is a push to get a Muhammad Ali Act-like MMA bill pushed thru into law that could definitely change how the UFC & to a lesser degree Bellator & other MMA leagues operate. Assuming its passed. And its in the super early stages so its likely a year away at absolute minimum & more likely years away from being passed.

UFC fighters can have different sponsors outside of the UFC. Jones already is sponsored by some protien **** called GAT so he can also have TMT as a sponsor.
