Well, Povetkin never tested dirty according to WADA guidelines so I guess Wilder should drop the belt now.

Dirty sneaky ****s. VADA didn't even rule the testing conclusive and just asked for more time. Wilder is doing everything he can to get out of this fight now and acting like Povetkin tested dirty. Piece of **** coward.

He would have fought Wlad because Wlad tests clean.

      Wlad never failed a test.
Wilder has never failed a test.

Povetkin tested positive as a drug cheat.

Claim what you want, but the facts are clear. Other HW's are passing drug tests, Povetkin didn't.

To avoid risky fights is my guess....... what a complete farce.
I say you are 100% right. povetkin was selectively "caught" I was stunned when I heard wilder was going to Russia. could not believe it. now I know why had no intention of fighting there

Yeah. I'd expect you to be dumb enough to believe that a boxer's physique indicates PED use. Somehow, only one of them pissed hot. Hmmmmm....

That's like admitting he wanted to avoid Povetkin all along, which was probably the case anyway. Let him vacate and lose the cash then, Alexander will easily stay in top contention via other routes. Next.

Theoretically, if Povetkin gets suspended by the WBC, couldn't he just fight for another sanctioning body? Don't athletic commissions have the power to suspend fighters too?
