Andy Ruiz is just a fat light heavyweight who won't fight anyone because frankly he is more a sideshow attraction than anything.
The guy was getting his doors boxed off by Tor Hamer ffs before he got the memo to randomly quit as usual.

The fight wouldn't be remotely competitive. People say Luiz hasn't fought anyone, Ruiz's best win is a 45yr old gatekeeper in Ray Austin who had spent the last 5 years retired.

Ruiz gets battered & stopped in a very one sided fight. He losses to every legitimate HW, its plain to see.

Ortiz would beat the hell out ruiz... Wouldn't go past 7 rds..

Ortiz has really good combination of handspeed and power, and he puts his punches together very nicely...

I don't mind this fight if it keeps ortiz busy until bigger fights are available

I think it's a mismatch. I think Ortiz wins by KO in the first round. Ruiz is a fatso who can't punch very hard and isn't fast or skillful. He feasts on total bums. Austin is a 45 year old bum boxrec ranks 300th in the world. Ruiz beating him means nothing. Ortiz is also a fatso but he has good skills and real power and KOed Jennings who is much better than Ruiz. Why would a top rank fighter be tougher than a golden boy fighter? If a golden boy fighter switched over to top rank would he suddenly become tougher?

You ask us who would win but anybody who gives you their honest opinion that Ortiz would win you tell them they are wrong. If you already have your mind made up that Ruiz is such a sure easy winner why did you bother to ask this board their opinion and then correct them if they don't pick Ruiz to win? I have seen Ruiz fight a few times and I think he is a very average fighter who carries about 50 pounds of extra weight into the ring. He only appears slick and fast in comparison with the hand picked bums he has been fighting. You like him but some of us on here don't share your high opinion of him.

Ortiz is too strong, too athletic and much more schooled in the art of boxing. He KOs Ruiz in 2

Ruiz should not be put in with Ortiz. Manslaughter!
