I read an article were most athletes in Russia have been using this drug, over 100 athletes were banned. Damn now we got 4 heavyweights in the top 15 with PEDS history (Povektin, Ortiz, Teper, Browne)

A lot of Povetkin's wins are now suspect.

I disagree, though it maybe be suspect as to how good povetin actually is without the drug, his wins are not suspect as the drug was legal then and hence were probably used by a lot of other boxers and possibly by his opponents. However wrong ut seems this is the way a lot of sports work, they find new drugs that arent banned yet to give them an advantage without breaking ne rules

Its a fair assumption he was using this substance at the time of their fight, but the problem for Takam is it wasn't a banned substance at the time. Who knows doe, if a guy is taking a medicine for an ailment he doesn't seem to have & seems to have been microdosing that substance after its banned its not a huge jump in logic that he might have been straight using a banned substance back when he wasn't being tested &/or when the RUSADA was performing all the corruption they were doing.

Thats the thing when you get popped. It puts a question mark on everything you've done fairly or unfairly. People still openly consider if Margarito was loading his wraps in previous fights.

Why? He got popped for a drug which was legal at the time of his last fight.

I don't doubt that Povetkin was and is probably on a whole load of other stuff besides that, but that was what he was found out on, so technically he hasn't cheated in any of his fights. Laughable, perhaps, but that's the situation.
