Isn't Margarito more along the lines of the typical Golovkin opponent?

If the Canelo fight falls through I think we found GGG's next foe.

I guess, I have different feelings on Margarito. Yes he should retire, but I wouldn't mind him taking further beating. Sounds cruel, but he did box with basically brass knuckles for years.. Taking potentially years off other fighters careers. Not that I want to see him sucking his lunch through a tube.

Margarito looked so shot vs paez it was ridiculous. For him to bring Paez up in weight and get dropped that hard was a clear message. As far as being competitive, that's out of the question. But, he can still make some good money in Mexico and maybe Texas if he can strong together a few wins. He'd need to fight at least 3 more times. Alvarez seems like a safe choice but he might whoop Margartio. At this point he can build a fight to eventually fight a Kirkland, Rosado or Angulo. I hope he some how chooses clottey so he can get his ass handed to him.
