Comments Thread For: Mikey Garcia Reviewing Options, In No Rush To Ink With Promoter
According to Robert Garcia, trainer and older brother of former two division world champion Mikey Garcia, they are in no rush to sign a promotional agreement with anyone.
Nobody at this point will be willing to offer extreme money. The real fact is he has been out of the loop for so long, any one who signs him will be taking a risk.
Sounds like maybe Mayweather didn't give him the offer he was expecting. And **** man if Garcia is down with Haymon he don't need to sign with any promoter anyway. He's a name guy, he just needs to get active again to show he's still got it & then he'll be back where he was at & soon he'll be even better if he keeps winning.
Does anybody really give two flying f**** about this guy anymore? Sign with someone, fight someone, and be relevant again, jesus. Him and Marquez are dramaqueens.
Mikey should get active. It's time. Hope he doesn't waste another 2 years shopping for promoters. Get in the mix already at 140 or 147. There are many promoters and advisers out there. Grab the best one (offer) and get on with it.
If he signs with Floyd, he would get good workouts, sparring sessions with guys like Spence and Gervonta.
What weight class is he now? I seen he packed a lot of pounds from being inactive and theres a lot of fighters from 135-140 that will whoop mikey... Plus hes an ugly fighter.. And prices up too much when its time to step up...
Mayweather knows business and i'm sure he didnt play mikeys diva ways of wanting more money
