Thats why you make fights when people demand them, not after nobody cares.

Why doesn't he mention how this fight was agreed to and all but signed before Haymon came in and lured Stevenson away?

No, it wasn't his fault that he ran away from the fight two years ago, or that he put up more obstacles when recent efforts were made to make fight. It also wasn't his fault that the Hopkins and Pascal fights didn't happen when the latter two pursued those fights (just look how long it took for them to negotiate fights with Kovalev - clearly they were at fault here.)

It's all good though, because A-Don is moving onto bigger and better things. Alvarez proved his amazing quality in his emphatic, shutout victory over Kovalev's next opponent. Nothing remotely bogus or dubious about that decision at all.

Stevenson is done anyway. Shame the fight didn't happen but Kovalev has moved on to bigger and better things. Stevenson hasn't done crap.

LOL ooooo the WBC president said it, must be true? Boxing is becoming sad. Stevenson is a joke to the sport, we really don't need Kovalev to knock his head off because Fonfara we'll be able to the next time around.

                    What he said is true.

Kathy Duva asked the WBC to make Kovalev the #1 contender to Stevenson, which they did. But then when the mandatory purse bid was ordered she ran from it like a coward.

Let the highest bidder put on the fight...what is wrong with that? It means more money for both fighters.
