when canelo brutally kos ggg will he be #1 p4p???

personally i think he has already earned #1 p4p status with brutal beatings of cotto and khan and kirkland and a hard earned victory over lara who everyone was ducking. ggg is a TRUE mexican style fighter with TRUE middleweight power but he hasnt beaten any true contenders. he is more overhyped than floyd mayweather on the boxing scene so i hope the ggg bandwagon will give canelo the respect he deserves after he sends ggg within an inch of losing his life with a lethal right hook.

If he does ko ggg, then not sure if he is #1 but def very high on the list..

Canelo would have victories over lara, cotto, ggg... Thats pretty damn impressive and about as good of list of victories of anyone in recent years not named floyd

how could he not be #1 p4p after such a great win?? if you don't realize how great of a resume canelo has already then you need to educate yourself on the great sport of boxing.

Brutally KOs a guy who has never been down in upwards of 400 fights amateur and pro. The same guy who couldnt put Cotto atleast on a knee is going to KO Golovkin. I give the kid a chance to beat Golovkin but he isnt knocking him out. Ill bet every last point Ive got on that, any takers?

To be fair, styles make fights... Neither of them fight in a way that lends itself to being stopped...they can stay away....and Shane has an atg type chin.

GGG is so aggressive that if Canelo hits as hard as people hype it and he caught GGG with one of those counter nuclear counter shots and put him down I wouldn't be surprised. A little speed and decent power even had Froch in major s hit vs Groves. Styles make fights. GGG looks like he'll beat Canelo but if there's a fighter equipped to be able to beat GGG it's Canelo. He has the style for it but does he have the power and chin for it? If Canelo can take GGG's shots and/or mitigate the damage/keep him honest with his defense I don't dislike Canelo's chances.

I wouldn't say GGG is more skilled because I think Canelo may well have the better skill and rhythm but GGG has been just a force of nature so far. His bone density or something is crazy lol. Once he extends his punch its like a battering ram it just goes straight through...so stiff.

he's koing kirkland and khan. those guys have the worst chins in boxing. i think they chose those guys with terrible chins on purpose just so he could get people buzzing about him because before when he was cherrypicking guys like mathew hatton and gomez he wasn't scoring impressive ko's. he needed those paper chins.
