He and his team state that 155 is his most comfortable weight, but he can do 154 easily. A guy that can make 154 without killing himself is not better suited to fighting at 160, he simply isn't.

How much you put on after the weigh in doesn't mean anything. Maidana, Angulo, Trout, Stevens, Clottey and countless other guys make weight without issue and gain over 15lbs before the fight.
I'm sure most boxers feel most comfortable at an arbitrary weight between 2 weight classes, but that's not how boxing works. Like others have said, it's fine if you want to come in at 155 because you're comfortable, but it's absolute bs to make others do that. And if he could make 154 easily, he wouldn't have came in overweight against Angulo. There comes a point where shedding off that extra weight just can't be done without jeopardizing too much. It eventually happens, especially with someone that has Canelo's build/frame.

Of course you wouldn't because again you don't deal in facts. You deal exclusively in personal opinion. Just be here if and when Canelo gets sparked out chump.

Murray should have been undisputed lineal champ but got screwed vs strum and serg

Macklin gave hell to both strum and serg, and ggg went right thru him

Lemuiex is a big puncher that had himself a belt..

Maybe if guys like strum, serg, cotto, canelo, quillen, jacobs would man up and fight GGG, golovkin wouldn't be wasting time fighting these 2nd tier guys

True, but all I am saying is..... under no circumstances should " 2nd tier guys " be classified as genuine "top10" opponents..... regardless as to where the ****ty ABC organisation's have them ranked.

              They are nothing alike.

They look at his opponents as they are today, not who they were when GGG fought them. Things change, but GGG has beat 7 top ten MW in three years-as ranked by Ring mag.

Geale is a former champ who never been stopped before GGG fought him. Lemiuex was on nine fight win streak. Murray is a good fighter who was one bad call away from best Sergio.

****, I think Geale is stil, ranked in top ten MW by Ring.

I guess none of that will matter come September. Oh wait, maybe you can start putting it out there Canelo is a bum. Because usually when GGG beats you, his haters instantly start question how good you are.

                    BULL**** !

Golovkin fanboys say that all the time.

AND, most of those guys should not have been ranked in the top10 of whichever ****ty ABC sanctioning body ranked them at the time either.

GTFOH saying that Wade, and most of those other guys, are genuine top10 opponents.

                    Dumb kid !

Study the sport, if those guys are top10 then middleweight is truly dead.

GGG haters just make stuff up. They constantly act like what a fighter is doing today must of been how they performed right before GGG faced them.

                      You fkn ****head.....

..... Canelo fought the 4 best JMW's on the planet CONSECUTIVELY !

And since then he fought Kirkland/Cotto/Khan.

Only a fool would compare their level of competition.

                      What an asshat kid.
