  • Crazy odds , that's pretty similar to what the Canelo/Khan opened up as. It's also surprising the vast majority of nsb "experts" are picking GGG to walk right though Canelo.

If this fight does happen next, and at 160, it would just further prove Alvarez is one of the few top fighter who consistently challenge themselves.

lol you're an idiot. C'mon man you really aren't this ****** are you? Are you still believing that Golovkin, a man who's weighed in at 160 for 10 years is still the smaller man?

The thing is the opponent does matter. Do you think Golovkin would be able to do the same thing to A-level fighters? I probably shouldn't ask you that you think he's a god and an ATG already...

Shty opponents have no game plan and you can basically get them to go where ever you WANT in the ring. They don't make adjustments, don't counter for sht, have sloppy hand placement like on their sides and below their belt line. Leading with their chin. Telepath their punches and have terrible footwork! Basically everything I saw in the video. I'm sure I messed probably another 20+ bad habits Tomato can did.

Yes GGG looked good we ALL know this. But go back and watch his last REAL fight against Andre Dirrell a technical Southpaw who went 1-1 against GGG and both times could of went either way he didn't look nearly as good.

No he has not faced a MW, he has elected to fight guys much smaller than himself. After fighting GGG you can almost guarantee Canelo will fight at the 160 limit as he has no reason to go back down and kill himself. Up until now he has done it to avoid Golovkin and for no other reason.

          • Lmao. The anti-GGG fans are already at work trying to discredit this fight. They so mad that after this fight GGG will be a top 5 P4P for sure (even though he already is a top 10).

Just goes to show you, even in their blinded rage, these haters believe GGG is a beast.

            • The gap will close as the fight gets closer, but GGG should rightly be favorite.

              • i would put my life savings on canelo and my grandfathers farm at these odds. in my opinion it should be 4-1 in favor of canelo. ggg is a great fighter but who has he beat??? canelo has a great resume and he is ten years younger. plus he has improved so much since his loss to mayweather it is astonishing. it will be great to see ggg get laid out and have four times the money in my bank account on the same day.

I just think he's still a bit inexperienced to handle GGGs kind of pressure. Either way they're are both great and it should be a entertaining fight however things turn out.
I agree he is a great champion but has been matched very carefully by GB with the exception of Trout & Lara (Kirkland & Angulo were shells of themselves and done) and neither of them were big punchers. They have steered Canelo away from guys with power for some reason but if this fight gets made that is the only thing I think hurts his chances. He will be stunned at getting hit with GGG's power and may not know how to react, Then again he might be able to weather the storm and land his own big shots. Should be fun either way, just hope it happens next.

                    • Not a surprise. Bovada and other online books opened at around GGG - 350 months ago.
