How dare you compare Hopkins to GGG. Seriously.

Golovkin has never fought a guy like Pavlik with power in both hands, a great chin, and a high motor. Pavlik would have smothered GGG and made him look like no monster.
Lemieux is better than Pavlik by a landslide, Pavlik is just a no good alcoholic who had no heart and no commitment to training and remaining in the game.

GGG is also better than B-Hop in every way, until GGG has to utilize clinching and wrestling after ever 1 or 2 punches thrown then you can come back and dispute that one with me.

Only thing Pavlik would have knocked out was himself after a few Bacardi breezers the crazy alcoholic that he is.

Pavlik destroys lil g lmao, this dude wouldn't get backed down, he'd hold his ground. Go back to any of lil g's fights and fighters have survived their initial KD's by staying in the center of the ring and trading with lil g.

Pavlik has shown he can take a massive beating, lil g has not, he's completely unproven against quality competition.

I think people underestimate the height difference.....GGG fought a methodical pace against anyone he considered a puncher....if he tries that slow pace while jabbing backwards against a fighter who has 4 inches of height on him (GGG is 5'9'', Pavlik 6'1''), he would eat 1-2's all night at that range....GGG's toughness hasn't been tested at all....I do think his strength and punching power gives him a chance against Pavlik if he takes the fight inside though.....when I see Golovkin fight a high pace against someone with punching power, then I'll be sold on him...

The Pavlik that knocked out JT in 2007 VS today's GGG would be a helluva fight.

Upsets can happen, Pavlik losing to Hopkins and Martinez were no upsets.
