Bra, you already know that no boxer near FMJ's weight is never going to stop mentioning him if they feel they have a legit shot of getting that fight. It's the same reason why Ward will never stop mentioning GGG. And it would mean much more to a lesser known boxer to become the one that takes FMJ's undefeated record away. That makes headlines. Of course every boxer wants to fight him. But FMJ fans will always defend him if he blatantly avoids a certain boxer. And it doesn't get any more blatant than saying a contradiction of a quote that is the headline of this article...

He's blatantly avoiding the #1 middleweight in the world as a retired welterweight? I'm not gonna even bother posting a sensible reply. HeroBando and I actually had a pretty good discussion about this already.

If you're a Golovkin fan that's cool, but don't tell outright lies.

What outright lie? It might sound ridiculous to you that the retired WW champion FMJ doesn't want to entertain a bout with the #1 MW, but there you have it. All the quotes that come out of FMJ's mouth definitely indicates he wants to come back for at least 1 more fight. I mean, he trademarked TBE 50. What other reason would he have to do that other than to come back for at least 1 more. If he truly was TBE, then the greatest challenge available is GGG at 154. That's not hard to understand. If fighting GGG was truly "easy work" as he says, then he'd make a good chunk against the greatest financial gain out there: GGG. It would be 12 rounds of easy money for FMJ, then he can retire satisfied at 50-0. You don't think the fans will tune in for that?...even the casuals will be interested to watch...heck, even the most ardent FMJ haters will tune in for that. Ppl will buy that ppv. The true farce of a potential matchup is FMJ vs McGregor. But FMJ would rather do that than against an actual boxer?...sounds like double standards to me. We forget so easily that when Leonard fought Duran, Duran was widely considered to be the most feared boxer in the world. Now that's a challenge...and Leonard did it (3 times I might add). Why are we giving a pass to the guy who wants to proclaim himself TBE?

BTW, my favorite boxer is Keith One Time Thurman.

First off, I meant no disrespect to you sir. I threw that in there just in case you were a Golovkin fan, since I read a good deal of fantastical replies here in defense of him. That was my fault, and I apologize.

Secondly (and again, I talked about this with HeroBando), McGregor has no chance of fighting Mayweather, because Mayweather is NOT going to do business with ZUFFA. They have too much money for Mayweather to push them around in negotiations, and McGregor cannot fight without their approval since he has an exclusive contract with them, which means that Mayweather couldn't possibly get a 9 figure payday there. I fully believe that everything Mayweather has been saying is for promotion, and that he will likely fight Danny Garcia or Keith Thurman for #50 (though he hasn't mentioned Thurman's name yet).

Thirdly, Mayweather is asking Golovkin to go up 2 classes, then drop back down 3 to fight him. That's definitely not happening, and both camps know that. All of Mayweather's quotes indicate that he's a promoter, and promoters tell lots and lots of lies. If he does fight again, it's going to be against a guy in his weight class.

No offense taken. I've had verbal bouts with stubborn fans before...it's always logic with me...and you, sir, have that in spades. Nearly everything you said I was in agreement in. FMJ vs Thurman?...music to my ears. Yea, I definitely see ZUFFA wanting a fairly large chunk of the profits...probably leaving less of a desired amount for both McGregor & FMJ. Can't stand those who try to justify the match as anything more than an exhibition. It's not a real boxing match...and shouldn't be counted as a professional fight. That being said, I would probably watch it if it was set up as an exhibition. And I'd still like for him to take on a strong opponent for his 50th. Thurman would actually be my ideal choice. And hey, he was a mandatory. Makes perfect sense from a financial & sport perspective. Of course, we just can't tell with FMJ sometimes. I leave you with this: I wasn't trolling or anything like that. I'm new to this site, so, really, I haven't had much time to respond to anything. I just was starting from the back of the comments & responding at leisure. Because I'm at work & I don't have much else to do, lol...plus, it's my job to watch all the fights (I work at a sports book in vegas). So, naturally, all the debates & talk on bouts is something I feel comfortable with...even UFC.

If GGG complied then Floyd would find the next excuse during negotiations ..... example money. They would make sure that GGG never accepts by low balling GGG.

... GGG fans are pathetic b1tches
Sorry but Floyd's comments are dumb. If you want to fight GGG and say that he is easy work then just fight him.

BTW - Floyd took on Canelo and tried to take away Canelo's sole advantage going in by demanding a CW. I'm sure that Floyd would have done the same if Floyd was serious about GGG and try to drain him even more than he did too Canelo.

How was the offer BS? Golovkin would have gone up 4lbs, & Ward would have come down 4lbs. You can't get more fair than that. If Ward wanted Golovkin so bad, he would have accepted. News flash: Ward hasn't beaten a big name in nearly 4 years. Golovkin doesn't need to bring up Ward to bolster himself, as the interviewer & Ward suggested.

Yea Floyd Apparently according to you 2 of the greatest middleweights in history are just pure cowards according to You. So Bernard Hopkins moving up at age 40 supposedly waited to long to move up and Marvin Hagler is a little ***** because he never moved up. hahaha these Floyd people are laughable. Of course Floyds pompous ass just couldnt handle it the moment a fight starts getting a ton of hype in GGG vs Canelo the little money hungry greedy pompous woman beater starts his **** again, Hes just mad that people are happy hes finally retired and the real fighters are fighting that actual care about putting on a true battle where everythings left in the ring like real warriors. Not some little bithch Nig thats more worried about money than the people that feed his family. The crazy thing is that Pretty Boy Floyd used to be my favorite fighter when he actually fought with heart and actually took real risks and cared about leaving everything in the ring, but then this piece of **** was spawned out of that great boxer and it was a very sad day. Wake up people and get floyds C#@k out of your mouth, GGG will move up when he unifies the division like hes been saying for 4 years, he would've moved up 3 years ago if the WBC champ wasnt ducking him for the last 4 years from Sergio to Cotto and now Canelo. Use your heads. The thing is it doesnt matter who GGG beats to these Roid monkey Floyd Mayweather fans itll always be the same bull****. He'll beat Ward and they'll say "Oh dat sum Bu****, Ward hadnt been fighten in like fo years and he had himself a hurt Shoulder, dat dont count" Then GGG will put Canelo to sleep and they'll say " Canelo was overrated he really lost to Lara and Trout and he be fighting at 155 he to small for GGG dat sum bu****" When really everyone knows the real reason Floyd fans hate GGG its because they are the most racist group of boxing fans in history and they just cant stand seeing a White/Korean beat the **** out of everyone. Bunch of racist hatters. Believe being open minded and watching fighters for their skills not their race is much more fun. My favorite fighters are Pretty boy Floyd before he turned into a piece of ****, Roy Jones, GGG, Kovalev. Its called watching fighters for there skills yall shoud try it sometime.
