Hey man, here's the fact of the matter. I've posted in this thread a list of fighters throughout boxing history that have conceded to other fighters weight demands or concessions.

If GGG can't go up and fight Ward as a pre-requisite to fight Mayweather, then you and I have nothing further to talk about here and you're wasting your time.

But there's nowhere near a precedent on that list. Bud this is not a real offer, just Floyd being emotional. You'd hope he was kidding but he looked upset

Not fact...same size gloves 10oz as for all middlweight title fights....u don't know much do you..... And onto canelo now....he's a middlweight champion and he should defend against middleweights period and if he don't think he can beat golovkin at middleweight then he should f@ck off back down to the 154 division and let other middleweights compete for that belt ...fact

Then how the hell is GGG going to fight mayweather at 154 if he can't make 155???? You guys make no sense.

But you guys are the ones that's saying Canelo is bigger than GGG.

If that's the case, the catchweight of 155 should benefit GGG more than Canelo.

To beat mayweather I would lose that much because he don't have the power to knock you out so losing that weight will not be so dangerous like it would be to a bigger puncher like canelo ....common sense

Go to google and look at any article on the topic and you'll find that Hagler made 3 concessions. Sorry Steve, you can't change history.

Regarding Canelo, again, if you guys say that Canelo is bigger than GGG, then the catchweight will hurt Canelo more than GGG. And if you say GGG can't make 155, then how the hell would he fight FMJ at 154.

Mayweather is the one who said he would fight GGG if he would prove himself first, and stop crushing cans. So apparently Mayweather does agree with you because he did not turn down the fight, he put a condition on it that any top fighter would expect of a guy challenging him.

Moving on, if Mayweather said outright that he did not want to fight Golovkin, NSB wouldn't have turned into a "Gayweather is ducking GGG" circle jerk? Sure. OK.

The only thing Mayweather is asking Golovkin to do is prove himself before he gets a mega fight. The dude is 35 and his best win is Matthew ****ing Macklin. There's that, and the fact that Golovkin is still 2 WEIGHT CLASSES ABOVE A 40 YEAR OLD 20 YEAR PRO WHO HAS ALREADY BEEN THROUGH 5 WEIGHT CLASSES. People gave Mayweather and Pacquiao crap for years about supposedly cherry picking guys, but now people are perfectly OK with Golovkin getting a clear money grab that he hasn't earned yet, against a guy that's basically out of the fight game, and old as dirt going by athletic standards. You've run out excuse lol...ok they were cleto Reyes gloves and not everlast or grant gloves....that's your concession right there lol....btw you do know Reyes gloves are punchers gloves don't you...and hagler was the the bigger puncher so it looks like leonard done the conceding there.
