    Only when it suits.

Golovkin was happy to go up to 168 right away for a Chavez fight, or up to 172 right away for a Froch fight. With Ward, only 164 and after he's finished at middleweight.

    It's BS.

I already said Canelo should have given up the title the day after beating Cotto. Canelo and his team say he can still make 154 and would fight there if a big fight was on the table, given how full he looks at 155, 154 wouldn't be a problem.

He's never fought at the 160 limit, yet he looks set to go there and take on Golovkin in his first fight at the full weight. He's taking yet another tough fight.

Agreed with the bolded, but why should GGG move up when he's got unfinished business at middleweight?

It's not so much he 'should'.

It's that he had no issue leaving 160 for Chavez or Froch at 168-172 right away, but had 'unfinished business' at 160 in the case of Ward, and wasn't willing to go above 164. The contradictions and backtracking are pretty clear cut.

I'm not usually one to get involved in these discussions, but the amount of **** coming from a section of that fan base has gone completely over the top.

You are obvious such a f@ggot in real life. Otherwise who would need to live vicariously through these guys you perceive as "tough". You wouldn't jump a 10 year old you women's blouse.

GGG gets punked every time another fighter moves up and tries to be great while he sits around waiting for hands out from smaller fighters.

            What unfinished business? BJS? Jacobs?

Canelo has never even fought at MW and is not a MW according to everyone so surely this business is not him.

What's a better win? Jacobs or Degale?

Crawford, Garcia both moved up recently...why won't GGG?

If he just wants to be a MW his whole career fine, but yes that makes him a lesser fighter and people can bring up Hagler all they want. It makes you a lesser fighter than the fighters who have fought and succeeded against bigger men.

It's too bad casual watchers don'T understand the power or marketing gimmicks to promote a star. HBO Boxing HAS to be alive for its status quo. Of course they would protect this boxer's image at all costs. Ironically, as if HBO Championship Boxing wouldn'T know a thing or to about records? cmon people. Then you got an Apple endorsement and Jordan for what particular accomplishments that boxing fan purists acknowledge when it comes to the sweet science?

All Lil'G is stiff jab, overhand right and then left hook body shot, repeat repeat repeat... against WHO? It's all gimmick. People buying the entire belt unification at 160? What's there to prove if he and Abel think they can beat everybody at 160 yet in the real world there are weights above 160... and he's what 35?

Floydhype thompson asking leading questions again, as usual, and lying about GG camp using Ward's name when the reverse is true.
