You have always been definitive in how you interpret VADA testing results. That you are not definitive here is very problematic.

Povetkin was clean until the last test. He then appears beyond any doubt to lie about when he last used it. The facts overwhelmingly show he is a cheater yet you are not willing to call him one for reasons only you know.

You are going against everything you have ever posted about VADA, their accuracy, their credibility, and their ability to catch cheaters in the sport.

    That is extremely disappointing.
if you prove that idiot wrong with any common sense logic he blocks you like a child like he did me, dont keep making him mad as he cant handle reality.

    • Wow. Just fucking wow. Some posters in here just have no shame what so ever.

He passed a previous test... then failed a more recent test...

What the fuck do ya think that shit means?

It's bull**** that they backdated the ban. The dude has fought 3 times since then! The ban should be from the last time he fought or from the day they confirmed he cheated, not backed up a year.

        It's ridiculous.

Wait and see what VADA say. The amounts are under the world doping agency limits. I understand Wilder fans rushing to judgement as they want Wilder to stay champion and keep fighting C and B class picks.

Look.... another poster with wishful thinking.

Again.... he was CLEAN on THREE PREVIOUS SAMPLES.... then tested DIRTY on a LATER SAMPLE.

It could be training and water retention is the reason. Wait for VADA to clarify. If he has knowingly taken it recently then he deserves a ban of course. I personally doubt this.

Why do you doubt this though? When has VADA been under so much scrutiny because someone pissed hot. He got caught, end of story.

Can you understand how it looks when you agree with j0zef and support approaching Povetkin's positive this way when in other situations? you approach it differently?
Because the traces were practically non-existent. 70 nanograms. As J0zef pointed out, several explanations could be offered as to why they ended up tracing this tiny amount of said drug Povetkin had been using legally previously all along. As I said, it's unprofessional, doesn't mean he's a cheat per se.

Nothing is 'overwhelming' or 'appearing beyond any doubt' here. Again, we're talking tiny traces somehow detected by VADA. This needs to be reexamined and explained. For starters, we need a B sample.

Not with him testing negative 3 times prior to it. That would mean either VADA testing isn't what you claimed prior or he used. It is virtually impossible for him to have not used since January, test negative multiple times, than test positive.

That you are even floating this as a legitimate possibility is shameful.

Yes it is overwhelming-he had negative tests then came up positive. I have never heard of a situation where someone that hasn't used and tested negative multiple times didn't use and then tested positive on the same testing protocol.

If, for example, the negatives were urine tests and then the positive was a blood or hair test you might have a valid argument because hair testing is more accurate.

                      Tiny traces means he used.

You are extending Povetkin courtesies you have not shown other fighters that have tested positive.
