I understand and I agree with you, but what Deontay is losing out on is probably worth it to him. Think about all the sparring partners, travel expenses and gos knows what else he had to spend on to make this event and now its down the drain? Povetkin probably shouldn't be able to win the belt, and should pay a fine, but don't make the man miss a career check.

WADA has issued a large amount of exemptions for meldonium due to the unforeseen length of time it remains in the body resulting in false positives (due to it being legal 5 months ago). It's factually not "that simple" -- according to the agency handling the testing.

I don't know/care what your agenda is. I relayed you some information. Take it or leave it. If it upsets you then leave it.
Which was unnecessary because the original topic was whether or not the substance was banned which it is. Nothing more than that. Case closed.

If anybody has an agenda it's clearly you.

Danger enhancing drug lol. Not exactly sure what you mean exactly, but a PED is about enhancing your performance not enhancing your ability to murder someone in the ring or whatever you are implying.

If certain things should or shouldn't be on the banned substance list is a legit question that I've taken up for myself, but you don't decide that after a guy gets popped for something on the list. If they wanna change this substance being on the list moving forward fair enough.

No, that's not correct. It was legal then banned then issued amnesty due to lingering false positives.

If that is "banned case closed that simple" then you are struggling with some sort of mental deficit.

May I ask your age & level of education?

Personally I'd rather see the fight happen as a fan. But I also understand that situations like these are ideal moments for boxing commissions to set a precedent and show that they aren't messing around. The fact that Povetkin has been so infinitely difficult with fight dates and negotiations, and now this? Makes me wanna say "fuck him" altogether. All that diva shit, and you're cheating? And you testest negative up until weeks before the fight??

                • I think it's highly unlikely that this fight will still be on. If Povetkin does win, what is the result of the fight gonna be - a "no contest." It doesn't make much sense with that in mind.

I think with 8 days to go (before the 21st) the promoters should try to find a replacement opponent for Wilder so that at least he gets the television exposure and maybe still gets paid the contracted purse. Lebedev is fighting on the undercard, would it be such a stretch to have him fill in?

If that is "banned case closed" then you have a struggling mind.

I'm educated enough to know what a performance enhancing drug is. May I ask what your excuse is for not knowing something that's self explanatory? My guess is that your education is very limited.

Especially when you post body types to prove Povetkin has not been cheating LOL.

USADA says it uses CIR sparingly to control costs. Well, if they are stretched so thin they are still pretty useless.

Again, VADA is catching people here. USADA isn't.
Can't catch boxers if they aren't testing them because they prefer the cheaper Vada. They've caught a load of MMA fighters though. BTW USADA does CIR testing on all samples, you probably know this but chose to ignore it because the lies suits your agenda.
