It won't be Khurtsidze. They're sparring partners and share some coaches. Khurtsidze is the WBO #1, that's where DiBella will aim him.

With it sounding like Andy Lee is out, I'm guessing they keep the UK theme going and offer Danny a fight with John Ryder, Adam Etches, or Gary O'Sullivan (who Eubank just KO'd).

Anyone know the story with Monroe losing that fight. Someone injured?
After they pulled Khurtsidze out, Monroe was offered the Derevyanchenko fight and turned it down. He could've outboxed Khurtsidze, but he would've been outboxed by Derevyanchenko.

Daniel knocks Quillen out in a round last year and returns on an undercard most likely against a nobody, Haymon is a true star maker.

People say Jacobs had a one round KO his last fight and hasn't fought yet. He's ducking GGG. But these same people were making excuses for Povetkin prolonging the Wilder fight after his first rd KO of Perez. These dudes are see thru

Hadn't heard all that. Thanks for the heads up.

I was just looking at his twitter to see what was going on & seen none of that stuff mentioned just that he's no longer with Banner.

You have people on here claiming he's ducking GGG because he isn't calling GGG out. Why would he call GGG out when he can't fight him until GGG/Canelo/WBC get their **** together? If he would've called him out people would be saying he only called him out because he knew GGG had to fight his IBF mandatory and the WBA fight with GGG isn't considered a unification by other organizations. People actually expect him to put his career on hold and wait for the WBC/Canelo/GGG drama to be sorted out.
                This.

Although this is one of those no lose genius Floyd avoided x guy til he fights x guy then x guy is done arguments that is a no lose genius arguments that I'm jealous to have not come up with. Its bs granted, but a genius argument.

So let's say the WBA does call for the unification. That means GGG should be cool with fighting at Barclay's on July 30th on a PBC card, right?
LOL & this right here. GGG vs Jacobs on NBC or Showtime on July 30 works for everybody right? I guess you're even supposed to give up TV dates + venues for HBO now.

I'd be super shocked if they went with O'Sullivan. He's a fun guy & is tough, but that a bad look for Jacobs after Eubank outclassed him.

I'm seeing Anthony Dirrell in the WBA MW rankings for some reason. He's never fought at MW & idk if he can even make 160, but now I'm curious if this is an error, like I'd assume, or if Jacobs vs Dirrell could be in the works or just a potential option.

Shouldn't Jacobs be headlining after the Quillin win?

These dudes making up fairytales. And when I call them out on their BS, like Eastcoast they put me on ignore

For those that really want to know, the truth is out there. The WBA said in December they would clarify the Jacobs/GGG mandatory at their annual convention. There was even a stories posted on this site about it

A mandatory fight between Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) and Daniel Jacobs (31-1, 28KOs) could be ordered at the 94th Convention of the World Boxing Association. According to WBA Vice President Gilberto Mendoza Jr., the sanctioning body will examine the middleweight situation at the convention, which runs from December 13th to the 19th in Panama. He says an order, outlining the entire middleweight division, will be issued. :::::::: Shane Mosley: "I'll fight in honor of Mr. Gilberto Mendoza" Text: Hilmar Rojas Erazo Press AMB. 02 December.- Last week it became official participation in Shane Mosley KO Drugs that on 17 December at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City, as part of the activities that are part of the Agenda of the 94th Convention of the World Boxing Association. Through an interview published on the website The Ring, he confirmed that Mosley will be fighting in Panama, and further explained that it does something beyond his career. At 44, Mosley said: "I will fight for the WBA Convention in honor of Mr. Gilberto Mendoza" WBA president, "he has been sick and I've always been aware of him and his family. I spent much time with him in Panama. So I told him I would be at Christmas with him and fight in his campaign to free the KO Drugs ". Mosley is beating Ricardo Mayorga in its most recent presentation. "I'm fighting for my friend Gilberto. If I raised my spirits, I'm happy to oblige. It'm ready to show the world that I'm still world class, "he concluded. WBA Vice President

IBF/IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin and WBA "regular" middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs met face to face at the ongoing annual convention of the WBA Boxing Association in Panama. Golovkin is the WBA's "super champion" at 160-pounds. Jacobs was in action two weeks ago, when he knocked out Peter Quillin in the first round. Golovkin was last seen in October, when he stopped David Lemieux to unify his three world titles.

They told Jacobs and GGG that they would wait until after the WBC decides what to do with Canelo and GGG if they both were to win their next fights. GGG and Jacobs knew this back in December because they were both at the convention.

2016???? Is this what they wanna see ??? #jacobsvsggg

A photo posted by Daniel Jacobs (@danieljacobstko) on

When the WBA was asked again in Jan what was going on with GGG-Jacobs they reiterated that they would wait for the GGG/Canelo/WBC situation to be straightened out.

You even got the writer for the world wide leader in sports claiming Jacobs id ignoring GGG. If he's a boxing writer he has to know the WBA made this decision in December. The boxing media has an agenda. It's clear to see to anybody that pays attention to the sport.
