If any fight did probably only the lemiux fight. That's why I don't get excited when they announce a sellout. Easy to do when you giving away cheap tickets. Canelo even in a mismatch stay busy fight does a live gate like 3-4x the biggest live gate GGG has ever had. Let that sink in for a moment. Canelo now has 3 fights that are among the highest grossing live gates in Las Vegas history.

When canelo gives out cheap tickets and doesn't fight in Vegas he fills up baseball stadiums and still generates a live gate of 3.4m more then any ggg fight has ever sold in tickets and higher live gate and that was against kirkland.

He just more then doubled that live gate with about 1/3 of the amount of tickets sold. This is why the big boys fight in vegas.
