They were extremely popular, as is Canelo. But we're they doing big PPV #'s (without the likes of De La Hoya, etc.)

I don't recall them carrying PPVs and doing big numbers.

AND as for Trinidad, anyone as good as him from PR is destined for stardom. Their special fighters are far and few in between.

True but Tito had that young kid look and smile, and Chavez's will and passion showed through when he fought. Canelo could overcome the lack of English if he showed that sort of urgency in the ring...particularly against Floyd and Cotto. He showed some passion during his post fight press conference when talking about Mexico and GGG...that was pretty cool. First time I've seen him show emotion that came across on TV
