I mean a year and a half since that's how long it's taken him to fight the WBC number 1 Challenger. BUM SQUAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will you call him BUM SQUAD if he beats Povetkin or will you give him credit for beating one of the top fighters in the world?

I agree... Wilder is nothing without that belt. One of the more obvious cases of a paper champion

A win over Povetkin would partially help him give credibility in being called 'Heavyweight World Champion', but he's gonna need to beat Fury

I would look at it differently. There has been a series of situations where visiting fighters turned up positive in that area of the world. there is a lot of su****ion right now.

He never acted like he didn't want it. The problem is that idiots like you will never admit that you were wrong. No different from when you claimed Ward would duck Kovalev.

With his size and reach he should beat the much smaller Povetkin. If he continues fighting unranked bums who's names you can't even pronounce after Povetkin then I'll still call him BUM SQUAD because again he's only fighting Povetkin because he has to to keep the belt

I have to root Wilder on over Povetkin because he's my fellow American.

...but my head sometimes wonders over and thinks Povetkin will pull off the win.

Agreed. Beating Joshua would help also. But I think Joshua would show Wilder who is really wilder

Haha, yep. It's sad, but it's entertaining at the same time.

He is gaining my respect for traveling to russia to fight Povetkin. Even when he loses at least he finally stepped up the competition and went in the lions den.
