Think about this: Khan was up 4-1(or so)... He's Khan, so normally he makes huge mistakes, coupled with his trash technique, got timed.
Manny Pacquiao, the FOTD, will get KTFO by someone as slow, average, as Canelo? He'd box circles around him.
Manny has exactly what Floyd has, and he schooled Ginger. He has foot speed, hand speed, reflexes, & underrated defense.

The fight, in reality, wouldn't be competitive. The judges, however, would burn Manny.
This would all make perfect sense, if saying "well, so and so was doing good, and Manny is better than him!" worked.

    But it doesn't work.

And Manny most certainly doesn't have exactly what Floyd has. Give me a break. They two entirely different fighters.

canelo that floyd beat, pac could have beat him, back when canelo was green, rehydrated to a 165lb cap, and drained to 152

this prime canelo has a lot of new muscle mass, he's grown from a boy into a man, he has experience, he works the body, doesnt headhunt as much, pac stands no chance at seeing the final bell.

roach is even ****** for suggesting it, especially after what happened to khan, who was a much taller, rangy guy, with fast hands

any ww who fights canelo now will be fighting on a tight rope, and one slip and its lights out
Well said. This is a true middle weight prime canelo now.

Pac is slowed down by vicious body blows and knocked out late probably ahead on the cards but it won't matter. The key to beating Pac has always be to beat the body first and Canelo will do just that no way Pac wins this.

Wow, styles make fights. I never knew!
And Manny's style beats Canelo easily. See it as truth or just my opinion, don't completely discredit it.
It's your turn now! Explain to me as to how & why Canelo would beat Manny.
Because he's "bigger" is not a viable answer.

If Pac could handle the power, he has a good shot.

There's no shame in that. I'd love to see the fight at any reasonable weight.

                  Right?

Roach doesn't even sound sure..he THINKS Manny can maybe beat him.

Pac would get KOd before Khan simply because of the style... Pac would engage much more.

These guys need to leave Pac alone. If Pac wants it..don't let him. Pac has a stellar record vs counter punchers (sarcasm) now put him in vs the biggest and most aggressive of all the ones he'd have fought? Hell no. Heeeelllllll no. Pac doesn't have the height or reach like Khan to try to throw over Canelo and land quick one twos from as far away as possible.

Not to say Pac isn't a better fighter than Khan because that goes without saying but Pac would be out cold. Canelo is a combination of just too big and too good for Pac.

If Pac comes back I'd really only like to see him in vs a Broner type or someone thats younger in his own weight class.
